Just got my tickets for tonight and the lady said they're expecting a fairly big crowd tonight of 14,000+.

Kinda surprised me to say the least?

Since when has 14,000 been a big crowd at the Ricoh? That was average last season iirc.

Compared to 12k and 10k in previous games, it is a significant improvement if we could get say 15k there. I agree its not exactly a big croud, but comparable to what we may get this year, I guess it is.

Compared to what we are expecting this season it's a larger than average crowd, but since the Ricoh opened its probably below average.

There will be an extra 1000 due to a whose who of failed manager applicants in the crowd !!!
Surely this could be turned into a game who can spot the most football managers scores backed up with photos please !!!

You heard wrong then.

EDIT: I have no evidence to back this up, just what I heard when buying my tickets yesterday.

Attendance will be well over 25,000 tonight - mostly comprising of all the different prospective managers posted on here in the last couple of days

If they bring 6,000 then there should be around 17,500. If not, then my guess is around the 14,800 mark. Nearly 15,000. Not a bad crowd for the Capital One Cup. Attendances are always down at every club at this stage of the competition.
