Some good performances Stevenson always wants the ball and tried to pass it forward, Spence,Leaghy and was it Thompson the second half centre back.

Nicky Eaden will have been a new face on the bench.

1st half was entertaining, Kyle Spence being the stand out man for me for the right reasons, Cian Harries standout for the wrong reasons, he got caught in possession passes straight to their striker for a tap in, sliced clearances..wow if he's a prospect I'll eat my old underpants...a liability for me...Spence was direct showed some very quick footwork passed well after looking up, scored a great goal couple of nice deft touches as well... I like the look of Whitmore too also our number 8 in midfield, not sure of his name maybe shipley but he was number 8
2nd half the KE twins looked nice and busy, right back either Dion or Devon can't remember, was handed the captains armband later in the 2nd half he is very small for a full back but got stuck in well all in all a good runout for the team and understudies...

PS...still like Gahdzev, ghadzev, gadzev however its feckin spelled

Harries didn't look too impressive against Sturm Graz either. Comfortable in possession but got beat three times in the first half by their striker.
Sounds like he needs to improve.

As I said in an earlier post Harries wasn't good last year against Nuneaton either...would scare the life out of me if he had to play...I don't see a footballer in him atm, maybe I am missing something..he looks worse than Reece Brown did and thats saying something

How tall is Kelly-Evan, I've now read 3-4 posts saying hes too small and lightweight for a full back his wiki says hes 1.77m (5ft 9 1/2), which if true is taller than Ashley Cole, Patrice evra, Phillip Lahm, Lizarazu, etc

Might be a better idea then to stick DKE alongside Warwick Davis for comparison.

We do struggle with measurement devices. The sky blue calendar has three weeks as infinity.

Thanks to the group of players watching last night who were happy to have photos taken with my lad and others. RCC, Marvin Sordell, Andy Rose, Chris Stokes, Jodi Jones, Jordan Willis, great to see them so approachable. I know how much it would have meant to me when I was 14!

Harries has been written off as a liability on the basis of a friendly against Rugby. Whereas anybody who saw him in a league game at Oldham would tell you the opposite.

It is too early to write players off like Harries.

I didn't see him against Oldham, saw him against Nuneaton last year for the first time where I thought he was a trialist in the warmup as he seemed a bit uncomfortable. He didn't have an amazing game but just remember him going through Harewood like he wasn't there with a great tackle and putting him on his arse!

Mowbray seems to rate him highly and people were raving about him against Oldham.

can anyone put up a list, with numbers worn of who played last night, don't know his name but i thought the number 20 in the second half looked very good,
i think some on here are being a bit harsh on Harries, some very good performances from the ex & academy crew

If we had owners who are interested then we have a bright future as more than one of those lads will go a long way in the game but we all know what will happen.

Must still be plenty of money in the game our number 2 goalie has a nice merc

I like the lad a I'm hoping this is a year he can break into the team and should not judge on one game but last night he had a very bad game, poor touch, distribution, never looked confident. You would not think he was the same player. Let's hopefully put it down to the sun being in his eyes.

He reminds me of Ben Turner's early games and I believe he will eventually turn out to be the better player!

Bayliss looks very promising for the future, decent physical specimen for his age and superb passing range from the little I've seen, very Impressive in the cup game V Arsenal
Is the no 3 the same lad who played left back in that same Arsenal game?
If it is, very Stuart Pearce esque in style, physique and a great shot in that left peg!
