We'd have pissed on Man City.

Exactly why the "well we will be dicked by City anyway" never flew with me.

Not saying we'd beat City, but I'd rather be in the final with a chance than zero chance.

Man City were poor even in the semi final and lucked their way through a little, just not been the same team this season, which is weird to say when they won the league with 90+ points.

They got away with a lucky win, what team hasn’t? Deserved that today though.

I just couldn’t cheer Man City. Was nice to see a team not roll over and have their tummies tickled like so many this season

United only played well because the players knew Ten-Hag was going! They shouldn't have been there we was robbed and no-one can tell me different. Took Pep long enough to realise they were shit on there left hand side as well! Wrighty tore Wan-Bisaka a new one when we played them.

At least if Man City won I wouldn’t have to hear about it all week, fucking surrounded by plastic Man Utd fans. They’re gonna be insufferable

I think we could have beaten Man City today, and to think we came back from 0-3 down against Utd. Football is a funny old game.

Nah they’d have comfortably won by 2 goals

Glad I watched it - decent contest. Switched off immediately at the final whistle and I will not be watching highlights or any repeats of this one (hopefully) for the rest of my life.
Not the result we wanted on a personal level but every cloud - At least Saudi Athletic ended the season with just the one trophy as opposed to the 15 or so they were touted with at the start of the year.
Now that has to be good for football, surely?

Coventry City win the FA Cup by default then.

Cheated their way to the final with a dodgy VAR call and when Man City would have been there to destroy them, decide to flap it. Not gonna lie, I'm livid at today's outcome.

Quite an entertaining game in the end. Wish we’d have been given the chance to play in it.

As I said earlier - we just haven't got the capacity to defend as Utd did today.
I'm not so sure we would have felt as much pride coming away today as we did last month.

Makes you laugh, all the bottle jobs saying it’s best we lost as it would have been 10 nil
Against Man City.

Maybe a little dash of context to go with the carling?

Ten Hag has now won more trophies at Man Utd than Arteta at Arsenal

(I don’t count Community Shields, it’s a glorified pre season friendly)

Bit of a kick in the nads that, I'd have fancied our chances against Man Citeh on today's form. We are a decent counter attacking team and that is all Man U did.

They put in without question the best defensive block against the prem Lg champions this season.
We got thrashed by Birmingham City and couldn't beat PNE in two attempts this season.
I would not have fancied our chances against them today.

Beat Wolves away, beat Man Utd. Id always thought today would’ve been a forgone conclusion if we got through but city looked like they’d been on the piss all week

Irrelevant. Besides the Brum result was clearly a bunch of players terrified to get a booking or injury before the Semi.

We could never defend like Utd did today and no guarantee they would have gifted us the first goal either.

How do you know that? You can't cherry pick examples then disregard our gritty displays digging in against Leeds (X2) and Leicester

And united on multiple occasions this season had poor games defensively. It's all about getting up for a one off game.

that's 4 times we've played United in the cup post war and 4 times the tie winner has won the cup
