Southend fan here, in peace

First of all, congrats on making the final of the Tinpot Trophy, we all prefer it as it used to be. Hopefully, you win it and will be the only winners of the competition in it's current format.

I'm not expecting an easy game tomorrow by any means, you're fighting for your lives down at the bottom (which I don't like to see, you're only there because of your owners) and we'll have to be at our best.

If we play like we did at Bristol Rovers on Saturday, you're in with a chance. I made the trip and we were 1-0 down in the first minute. Hadn't even touched the ball.

We should bring a good following just as we did last season. We took 607 to Bristol on Saturday and with Cov being slightly closer (albeit midweek), we should bring around 700.

As a Shrimper making my second visit to the Ricoh, our small group of five would like to know where we can go for a pre-match pint or two? We don't remember there being anything near the ground.

Good luck for the rest of the season after tomorrow, hope you stay up!

If you want to drink near the ground, and if you are all over 18, go in the casino (next to main entrance) - you can walk straight in, but if you look under 25 you might need id. If you have kids, there is The Mill, which is part of the stadium hotel. Other than that, there are a number of places within 15-20 minute walking distance.

Not sure about the 'fighting for your lives' comment, you might want to re-evaluate that after the game.
Have a good trip, and all points donations are gratefully received.

Na-you will do us easily. We can't score goals and can't defend either. As has been said already the casino is the best bet as it's 2 minutes to your entrance before the game and you can get food in there aswell. If you don't fancy that there are other food places within striking distance-i.e. Burger King and frankie and bennies etc which is by Tesco. Don't park in Tesco though as you will get a ticket. Choose one of the car parks around usually about £5. All the best for the season AFTER tomorrow's game!

Just get at us early on, get an early goal and that should be that!

Bradford did it Saturday (at the start of the 2nd half though)

It I was playing against us that's what I'd do 10 mins intense pressure gamble numbers forward.

Would be so easy to play against us. First challenge with Turnbull I'd mess his hair up

Bull and anchor in Ash Green you can park there for free and get food and a decent pint 10 minutes walk from the ground.

Although if you park on the grass they try and give you tickets still!

"fighting for our lives"? Is that the new definition of ritual capitulation nowadays?
