Does anybody know how likely it is that the game will be on tomorrow. According to the BBC it has been pissing down all day and looks to continue into tomorrow. I know Northampton have just purchased a cover for the pitch so maybe that will save the match?

Not a chance. And I don't think we'll be the only game off. Think we may have to make up some new dates to get games in by the end of the season.

I certainly won't, look at all the poor condition that pitch started in before they covered it about a week ago.

If there was going to be a pitch inspection tomorrow morning wouldn't they have normally announced it by now?

Would have thought so; the covers must be doing their job. Looking forward to seeing the new fellas.

Not had that much rain today by comparison to recent events, so likely to be on (unless it w**ks it down overnight of course)

So it's 2 o clock kick off?

Just goes to show how much of an interest i take in what happens in that cowshed.

I wonder why that is?

Saints are at home just down the road, so footie plays second fiddle to the rugger. Common practice in these parts. Really pisses off a lot of Cobblers fans

Monners, are you a hiller/going tomorrow? I was planning on going to Cov RFC but if ccfc is on I might be on the hill for media tart duties

Well I'm currently in Daventry and if the weather here is anything to go by you can forget all about tomorrow's game.

I understand all the Sixfields hate, of course I do, but all this nonsense about the pitch makes no sense really. Have people really forgot the shocking state of the Ricoh pitch last season? Had it not been such a dry winter I am sure games would have been called off last term. Given the amount of games played on it I think the Northampton pitch has held up reasonably well all things considered.

Must admit, I hope the game is off as I know it will be a little windy on that hill tomorrow.
