Quick lesson,

Entry = Way in
Exit = Way out

No need for anyone to phone Stephen fucking Hawking to work that out

Though you wouldn't think it given how difficult it seems for many!

You do feel sometimes there are people whose mindset is that they should do the opposite of any instruction just because they are different to everyone else.

Never fails to make me laugh how annoyed these people are that you are in the way as well . No joke I overheard one bloke pushing his way out (through the entry door) saying " gets worse every week the congestion in here".

Some times it's quicker to go in the exit, and then back out the exit. I'm not going to walk to the other side of the toilets to come out of the door and have to walk through a crowd further just because some people don't like it.

Pathetic.

There should be more mens toilets than womens. It's not sexist, it should be done on numbers. Theres always a HUGE queue to get in to the mens, but for the womens there is never a queue. They should think about changing it a bit.

fair point for football but I guess they judge it on the Ricoh as a general venue?

Absolutely spot on there, Macca. If people could be arsed to walk an extra few metres to the 'entry' doors and then use the 'exit' doors to exit then there would be no congestion and the traffic in and out would be at least 100% quicker. I can't see why they don't stick a steward at each 'exit' door to stop the illiterati using them to enter. As Hawking would say: 'IT'S NOT ROCKET SCIENCE'.

i was a steward at highfield road for nearly 10 years in the away end and we used to have to do toilet duties so stop people using the wrong doors...we used to get accused of being willy watchers

What else can you do? When I go for a piss at half-time I don't want to have to wait in a ruck to get in and out because selfish people can't be arsed to walk a few extra metres.

This thread is no more futile than many on here, ffs it's not like we have lots of CCFC going on worthy of discussion.

I'm with you Macca. I've never been one for subtlety and insist on standing in their way and letting them know. Perhaps I'm just a miserable old sod though

We should implement a piss swipe card entry system where the card is swiped on entry and exit . Every month the Telegraph should do a page of mugshots in a name and shame piss offenders section !

Good for you, rob9872 - I wish I had the nerve to do just that - the most I can muster is an 'evil eye' glare, but it's a fact that selfish people are thick-skinned and only look after themselves.

If you've gotta go you've gotta go! Queue or no queue! Who cares what door people go in? As long as we all have a wee wee or a poo poo at half time we should all be happy.

Get your elbows out! People always try to barge as I go out to get in but end up just walking into them!

They are gonna have to write entry and exit in many different languages for the Olympic football ! Could be real confusion .

actually our foreign guests will probably be far more capable of understanding the signs than our usual lot. TBF just grateful that people can make it there at all after 8 pints of Carling before the game :guitar2:

I like to watch the full half up to the whistle so then if I use the 'EXIT' door to the toilet I am finished in time to meet my mate at the front of the queue to get me a beer as he misses the last five mins of the half. Surely this isn't selfish??!! :jerkit:

Agreed, I hate that too. If the facilities are there then there is no excuse. Does take the proverbial that there is no hot water though

In each toilet block there are about 8 basins , 8 wc cubicles and urinal standing space for about 40 .
If everyone queued to wash there hands it would cause the exits to be blocked , it would be mayhem !
Great thread by the way

Yeah, because there's a limited quota to threads and the existence of this thread prevents people talking about the more pressing issues going on like... erm...
