So the conspiracy theory is that the VAR officials didn’t want us to qualify for the final but they didn’t let the onfield referee in on their plot leaving them completely powerless when it came to decisions he made? By letter of the law, it was handball. Was it intentional? No, was it harsh, yes but if the ball strikes the arm or hand, it’s handball. The rule is wrong.No
For me it wasn't a handball for our penalty and if the FA really wanted Man Utd to get to the final they would've overruled the penalty handball
Whilst I agree VAR is for clear and obvious errors the issue is the rules rather than cheating by officials
