With the addition of possibly 3 more players we might actually win away this year!!!!

More important way to look at it

Murphy / Dunn
Christie/ Clarke
Cameron wood
Ken / bill
Hussey/ Brown
Baker / fleck
Deegan / Kilbane
Thomas/ ?
Sheff / Bell
Cody/ ?
Ball / Elliot

Kids

Definitely need that extra striker and creative midfielder.

Get those two. Everybody has a fight on their hands to keep their place. We will have options on the bench to change games.

We can genuinely judge AT

We can handle a couple of long term injuries.

We could easily replace Bell, Baker, Macca, Wood and ROD from this list. In my opinion they are the only deadwood that remain.

We still need a midfield enforcer too, I know brown can play in their but you wouldn't want him and Thomas in there if we play 4231. I know Kilbane's been playing there but I would think he'll struggle to play sat-tues-sat week in week out.

I assume you are discounting Deegan then?

Giant poodles were quite ferocious. I think a Pomeranian is more apt.

Deegan is perfect in that role, the other us just needed for back up. Injuries suspension last 15 mins so I think Kilbane, brown and Thomas can be the back up for deegan in this role. More concerned about the Norwood role and decent competition for cody

While they were only friendlies these two defeats to mid range Scottish teams has re focussed the mind on our frailties, numbers are healthy but quality is vital and preferably a team that will not usually contain 4-5 long term injury absentees. The usual chocolate fireguard suspects like McDonald and Bell are at it again I see !!
Interestingly Yeovil will play Bristol Rovers next week, who we play two weeks later, it may be an indication of where we are??

I doubt Brown has come to fill the bench. He will be centre half with Malaga, or midfield sitting deep. We may have another Keogh situation with him playing right back for much of the season, especially as I fear Clarke may attract a buyer.

I think we need another tough tackling midfielder, we have Kilbane and ... Deegan *sigh*. We also need another striker, only have 4 decent strikers if you count RoD aswell.
