What do you reckon? I don't think it was too bad for us. I don't mind Burton winning and pleased the rest lost. Wigan losing was a good result and Peterborough drawing was also pretty decent I think. Hopefully tomorrow we can reduce Burton's lead back down to two points.

Overall ok

WouldA preferred gills to get a equaliser and Swindon and donny runs to come to an end but they ain't immediate threat tbf

Win and we open up gap on gills wigan and pboro. And puts pressure on Walsall gsme in hand

Draw and I'm still happy. Solidify 2nd ace and keeps us chasing Burton who I still don't expect to win league

And lose and it's as u were. Yes Walsall have game in hand but I still won't be end of world

Let's hope it's one of the first 2 scenarios tho

Not at the halfway stage yet and chance of putting a gap between us and third spot, who'd have thought that in August. Also we will be going into the second half of the season with a much stronger squad. I also think TM will add to that squad come January

Would have preferred a burton draw. But overall good. Wigan in 6th not picking up anything at home was a real bonus. A point tomorrow would be fine but a win would send a message to all. If we win The two following home games the table will then look very good indeed

Win tomorrow and we will be 3 points clear from 3rd and 8 points clear from 5th. That will do nicely

Burton obviously not as affected by JFHs departure as we would've hoped.

It's not always instant my man! They had new manager boost to counter it

But will they do aswell over course of a whole season without jfh as they would have with him? Time will tell

We used to have ten men for games on end when David Bell was playing for us.

Agree - could take a month of games before we see any effect (or not). And Clough has yet to take charge, and wasn't at the match.

Yes agreed torch. Don't mind Burton winning, I'd rather the less horses the better jockeying for top two. The others not gaining more than a point worked well.

Need to win tomorrow, consolidate 2nd spot, put the pressure on Walsall to keep up.

Just seen the results, a very good day (helped by 4 of the other top 9 at 3pm not playing) win tomorrow would be something think a point tomorrow personally but need to follow that up with a min of 7 from the next 3 over Xmas.

my gaffer is a Derby season ticket holder who said he would have a large wager that burton won't finish top 6 with Clough in charge!

Got to be a win tomorrow nothing else is good enough got to keep the distance between us and the ones in top 6.
Most expect Sheffield United to be there abouts at the end of the season therefore need to be a 3 pointer for us a thing else is really a let down.

I really don't see any reason to fear this game tomorrow
We were a little off V Donny but TM has had two weeks to drill that out of them
I expect a vintage performance in front of the cameras
As for management changes I have felt that both Wigan And Burton to be strong but fade and fail due to there novice managers
For me the biggest damage has been done to Walsall with Smiths exit who frankly had performed miracles there over the last 4 seasons or so
See you up there you baldies.

Edit:-So I expect Cloughs appointment as a positive for them.

How do you work thay out???

Never said it was a exact science. Just very happy to see if it comes to pass. Rather that than they keep same manager and we don't get any chance of advantage

Still expect Burton and Walsall to drop off now.managers have changed

Both teams are doing well so losing their managers might not have much of an effect. But if their old managers come back in January for a player or two it could finish their season.

The only real result that mattered was the burton result but it's not the end of the world just yet. Sheff Utd are not playing well, cannot keep a clean sheet so we have every chance of getting a result, my only worry is that they have to come good at some point!

There has been a bit of money going on us to win this one. I got 9/4 with Corals a couple of days ago. They now have us at 2/1.

This isn't a must win game but I think it is a game we should win having said that a point would do important thing is we stay in the top two regardless. Not even looking at Burton to be honest plenty of time to catch them up not halfway through season yet

A draw is okay today as long as we beat Oldham and Port Vale at home. 7 points from next three games is minimum requirement to stay in the automatic spots.

And we play Burton at home in less than a month.

Today is not a must win game at all and a draw would be great.

Sheffield U is the biggest disappointment this season.
A win today and we only need 8 pts to stay up

We have Chesterfield & Crewe following on from Port Vale so if you look at the bigger picture, 10 points from the next 5 games will keep us in contention. So to me, today is just the first of 5 games we need to take 10 points from.
