Baker should have been taken off , not moussa or Barton. Especially bringing Jennings on.


Pressley hasn't got a clue....really don't think I'll be getting a season ticket if we play negative boring tactics like we keep playing.


What's wrong with Cody....... Is he a natural finisher and scores goals so we don't bother playing him??

Murphy - 6 He was playing behind a terrible defence
Christie - 6 Did ok but the full back seemed know his game very well
Stewart - 5 Don't blame him for the red card but poor going forward today
Edge - 5 Tried hard but just gets out of position
Martin - 6 Not sure if he is decent but looks worse because of the rank defence he is playing in.
Bailey - 5 Gave it away too often
Barton - 5 Good on the ball but needs to get stronger
Baker - 6 Not his best but still our biggest threat
Fleck - 7 Best player for us looks good on the ball and prepared to press
Moussa - 6 Some good movement but made some bad decisions in the final third
Ball = 1 Where do you start, if Cody was sent away for being unfit why is Ball still here. terrible ball control, poor movement and so so slow. Should not play for us again.

Not sure if the players we have are either good enough or understand the way Pressley is asking them to play. For me that means that those who cant cut it can go as there is nothing wrong with our tactics but so much wrong with the execution and decision making on the pitch. The second goal for example why play the ball back into your own 6 yard box. OK there player was always going to dive in that situation and the so called ref was always going to fall for it because he is crap, but we put ourselves in those situations.

Never before have I considered within 30 mins that a player need to be subbed, or else that a change in formation was required. Ball added diddley squat - can't see what he can add under a 4-5-1. Pressley is looking and sounding more and more like Thorn.

My reaction to Pressleys appointment was 'Underwhelmed'. Its been a difficult time to keep players motivated but I still feel roughly the same.

My overriding impression of Pressley based on match days is he doesn't have what it takes. His use of subs is beginning to look Thorn like.

Totally agree, by now he should be having his stamp on things...if this is what we have to look forward to, no thanks. Fri was a lucky win and all his previous games have been nothing to shout about

I for one feel that we played well into the penalty, I thought throughout the defence looked weak, but the only thing holding us back was striker, Ball was shocking, I can't name one half positive contribution he made on the game today, I hope he doesn't start, but in saying that, Wilson didn't offer much either, we could do with a striker in the summer for back up, after Leon Clarke, we have nothing, I thought our midfield edged it until the red card, but I was impressed with Walsall actually, that Paterson was fantastic, and defensive, were more solid.

Murphy 6 -
Christie 5 - got forward well, but can't fucking cross a ball, was ok in defence
Martin 3 - he and Edj were equally poor, but, Martin gave a pen away after poor play, I think he was out of position for the 4th, he or Edj, both were shit
Edj 4 - all over the place
Stewart 4 - didn't get forward well, defended poorly, got sent off. Whilst he is suspended, Christie should play LB and instructed to cut in, Clarke RB.
Baker 6 - lot of unfair criticism, he linked up well all over the park, I thought he decent.
Fleck 7 - played well, sprayed passes all over the park
Barton 7 - same as Fleck, always recycled the play
Bailey 5 - time for him to be dropped, went hiding again, time to start either CT4 or Jennings
Moussa 6 - looked dangerous.
Ball 1 - held us back, poor player, did nothing positive, conceded possession on a scale I have yet to see.

Did we throw the Game ? for a back hander i'm sure that was the trick walsall bought the point fisher and co banked the fee

call me pessimistic but we get humped 4-0 and we are giving ratings of 6, 7 and 8's to players??? really???

I didn't go myself but the radio didn't sound good at all!

Maybe ball is a poor player and unless we have a top class striker who can play up front on his own as in a Drogba style then obviously we cannont continuue to play 1 up front

Both Cody and Leon both prefer to play with another striker

Same as the Donny game - three man midfield with Barton and Fleck as deep-lying playmakers.

MoM for me was Baker, with Christie playing OK and Bailey alright - other than that, depressing.

Stewart is not very good, he is no wing back, he gets forward butcarries no threat at all
The red card may be a blessing, its 2 matches apparently as he was red carded at Notts Co too

I'd rather have Jordan Clark at LB any day of the week, while Adams is injured.

Bakers looks knackered, he really needs a proper rest, why is Bell on the bench?

Ball/Wilson cannot play the single striker roll, get Cody on or change formation to fit our players

I would have brought on Sheff and Bell after the red card, TO TRY AND GET BACK IN THE GAME AS we sat too deep

Presssley said we kept going forward, did we! I thought we gave up totally after 70 minutes

what a weekend, GOOD Friday (GET IT! ) and a BAD Monday
