I'm keeping an eye on today's games that have an effect on our play-off prospects. So far, things aren't going too badly for us. At half time, Doncaster, Blackpool and Posh are drawing, Fleetwood are losing.

Doncaster still drawing with Bradford, Blackpool now winning away at Luton, Peterborough beating Gillingham, and Fleetwood drawing with Southend.

Doncaster winning. A step too far now I fear.

All going badly right now, except Fleetwood being held at home. Need some late goals.

At least they'll be able to get the pitch invasion out of the way tomorrow.

Think we would need to win five games to get into the playoffs, if we don't win tomorrow then I think it will be all over.

I think we will need to win all 6. As it stands Doncaster are 9 points ahead with superior goal difference so that's 10 points needed. Just to catch up if they lose all 5 of their remaining matches.

Unlikely. But if we win tomorrow, then upset The Mackems, it would become interesting. I'm just enjoying our season. It's been good, especially away !

.....and that's not taking account of Peterborough who are better placed than we are

The fat lady is doing her warm up. Still, be nice to finish in 7th or 8th. Look at Accrington and Wycombe!!!

Yes. At the start of the season I said anything better than 17, and 12 or better would be a bonus. I'm not going to cry any tears over play offs. Anyway, as things are developing we couldn't afford to be in the Championship

Would have to agree! Could be a blood bath if we went up and didn't invest..! Plenty of things to build on for next year anyway with our young squad.

No chance of the play-offs.
Given our inconsistency, there is no way we will win all our remaing games, which is what we would have to do.
Even with that, teams above us would have to slip up dramatically.

We need to win every single game now and hop Donny drop 4 points along the way.

Can anyone see that happening realistically?

We both play Sunderland, they have Oxford and Plymouth which won’t be easy as we found out, then our game! And Stanley which I’m guessing they will win!

We need to pick something up at Sunderland and Portsmouth! Tough ask but not impossible, as long as we win today!

Need to be within 2 points of them come the last game!

Remember 97.... we needed a rare set of results to stay up

Sunderland lose or draw
Middlesbrough lose or draw
Us to beat Spurs!

It’s gonna happen again

Doncaster lost 2-1 at home to Accrington.
Keeps things interesting for another week at least.
Can’t believe we are still in with a slim chance with 2 games left - what a great season we’ve had.
Well done Mark Robins!!

Knowing our luck we will probably get promoted at Wembley only to get expelled from the league at the same time

I had given up on playoffs and forgot they were playing. That means we’re creeping closer on goal difference and might only have to win by 6 on the last day
