Greay day of results. No point bemoaning lincolns winner as we benefited from port vales equaliser in last few monutes too

Top 7 looks extremly likely but im focusing on 3rd till its gone. Lincoln game is HUGE

That Lincoln goal is not such a bad thing. It means Tuesday is no longer a must win for them and a draw is now also a perfectly decent result for them too and would put both teams 4 points clear of Mansfield with 2 to play.

Well its not make or break on Tuesday but lets not do it the hard way for a change. A win and we're pretty much there.

Don't want to be having last day of the season where we need a result for the play offs and they need a result to stay up.

We need Grendel to get back on their boards and take the piss.
They hated him last time he went on, unusual and very surprising that.

Mansfield spent enough time in our matches crying for fouls, they wouldn't need much encouragement! But don't be surprised when we're winning 1-0 in the 85th minute and Ryan Haynes is asked to man mark Rhead from a corner.

By my reckoning we need just 1 win and a draw from our last 3 games.

Mansfield can only get to 74 points. We are on 71.

Draw and a win will give us 75 points. We can surely win 1 and draw 1 of our last 3 matches can't we?

They are relegated, Burton & Bolton play each other next week so Sunderland can't survive.

Yeah. Just saying that 5Live said they are NOT relegated. Obviously incorrect.

You wouldn’t bank on Mansfield winning one more game let alone two, they will drop pts again.

Yeah. Talking about their 5pm headlines. Said they could Stiller's Scape on goal difference. Wrong obviously.

To quote the BBC:

Sunderland are relegated
FT: Sunderland 1-2 Burton

To confirm, Sunderland are going down for a second consecutive season.

They're six points from safety, with two games to go, but because Burton and Bolton will play each other next weekend, the Black Cats cannot mathematically survive, even if they win both of their remaining games.

Exactly. But even if they win both, we only need 1 win, 1 draw and that's out of 3 games.

We are almost there!!

*”there” being the playoffs. Then we’ve got to win at least 2 out of 3. Long way to go yet. I’d be amazed if we won them at our first ever try.

But we're Coventry City. We specialise in making things hard!

Looking mighty fine.

3 games left, just 4 points needed.

Blow this and we don't deserve the place.

Almost time to think about who we will be up against post regular season.

So the lowest we can finish is 8th?

When’s the last time we finished that high?
