Will tell me what Tim Fisher truly thinks of our club, its future and its customers(fans) young or old past, present or future. Looks like some of our youngsters (future) are on the move and even with them we need imo 3 new players. So without more to have a hope of crawling out of the bottom 4. I suspect and have for a while Fisher is comfortable with relegation just as he was 4 years ago when we fell out of the Championship trap door.

It is a very odd position to come to terms with if true.

The norm is for the chairman and the board of a club to be desperate to avoid relegation and to talk of how bad a thing it would be and how unacceptable a situation it is.

Here we hear nothing.

Can only put that down as an acceptance. An acceptance seems to point to an unconcerned owner.

All we normally hear is about where this new ground is going to be or what is our fault. So not expecting much.

Well he's clearly not comfortable with relegation, as we appointed a manager to try and stop us from being relegated.

What the financial constraints are, and how they affects that, are rather different to the above.

There are not the usual rumblings though, NW.

The norm from my experience is the board and chairman of any and every club publicly coming out and stating this is not acceptable and relegation would be a disaster. There is then also pressure put on the manager to get results.

Might just be Fisher thinks anything he says will be jumped all over with by the fans, but it is an odd situation and I have never encountered anything like this before.

Usually now there are all kinds of rumblings and board talk of just how disastrous and unacceptable a relegation would be.

Agreed. It will all come down to what's left in the budget, the low attendance s aren't going to help but hopefully the JPT run will have counter balanced that somewhat and the willis money may just give Slade a few quid for a fee, agents fees, wages. Sisu aren't going to put any more cash in.

I really don't know anymore but I think sisu wanted a self sustained league 1 club. League 2 suits more than the championship for the business model.its designed to fail and it's failed. We will be relegated and I don't think it stops at league 2.

I don't think sisu want to be relegated but it doesn't seem to bother them also. No short term money in and lack of players shows this for me. Selling your top scorer in sordell doesn't help if you want to stay up does it?

Imho ,the shit will hit the fan, all of this continued abuse of CCFC fans by Fisher & co., has been noted.
Imho, it is no secret that all hell will break loose at some point, no one condones violence,
but the tenure of control & ownership of OUR proud club is directly in question.
If, for example we were a public body looking after the community, & being run by this present regime, I dread to think what would be held against them.
A busted flush of so many years, & being run by persons who HATE us, imho, catastrophic & totally unsuitable management.
Perhaps the 'queen of debt', as labelled by many, may wish to comment & explain the invaluable contributions of messrs Bosco, Bradley, Clarke, Dulieu, Clouting, Igwe, Labowic, etc., it's been a while now since we heard her 'pearls of wisdom'.

Regarding the OP, told you so. How long as Slade been here now ? and all January to do any business in, last minute failed attempt to get striker in no attempt as I see it for midfield. Taking nothing from the young kid brought in from Watford I hope desperately he's another Adam Armstrong but where's the experience ? As said Tim Fisher is at ease with relegation as if it's almost a plan. Not blaming Slade by the way he must now realise what a percentage oison chalice managing City is

Obviously not which is a bonus but look at our goals scored column we needed a centre forward whether they sold players or not, David Blunket can see that. If this Kwame Thomas is fighting fit and can come in and do a job that might be ok, bit of a gamble though !
