I keep saying to myself enjoy these days because they are probably going to as good as it gets. I love the championship and if we could take the money and stay In the championship then I would. The continual growth since we got promoted from league one has been gradual and has given us the transition from Kelly to Grimes, from Hiwula to Wright and with the stardust of Hamer, Gyokeres and O’Hare. Our team of today will be legends like Glazier, Curtis, Gibson and Gould were in my childhood.
We should savor this spring and summer as it will be remembered forever by those who have been on its journey from shit to glory.

Attended my first match in 1966. I was at Wolves the night we secured a fairs cup place with Brian Joicy scoring. At Wembley 87 to see us achieve. Again for MR to resurrect against the odds and to see our club at the checkatrade, playoffs & semi.
At one point I really thought our club may be liquidated.
To see us on the brink of returning to the PL is unbelievable achievement… without parachute money…. It is very emotional. PUSBs and well done to all concerned, especially the SBA

I’ve had a pretty hefty bet the last 3 years spread across us winning the league & finishing top 2 & top 3 didn’t do it this year

The thing will get me is the people missing, and im sure its the same for you all

I was 7 when my grandad first took me, and what a game, the Huckerby goal against United. I was hooked from that moment. He unfortunately passed of cancer in Dec 2001 so one of his last acts as a fan was to see us go down.

My mum then carried on the tradition with me, and took me up almost every game after my grandad passed, all the way to the move to the Ricoh. She unfortunately passed in May 2006, and saw the start of our decline.

I told myself I will carry on the tradition if I was to have kids, and I have 2 sky blue mad kids of 16 and 11, who completely opposite to the above have only ever seen us rise from the bottom back to the top.

I will be in floods for all of the above, the full circle moments from me being a kid, to being with my kids and witnessing it. I feel emotional even typing this tbh

We're nearly having our day in the sun gents, and boy do we fucking deserve it

You’re so right that this will be the same for a lot of us. This brought up some memories of my grandad and a few tears. Season ticket holder for decades. He just missed the EFL trophy by a few weeks and then the relegation to league two. On the latter I used to think at least he didn’t see us stoop this low.

Now look at us.

He’d be so proud
