lets face it we have a mountain to climb to get out of this mess this season but the lads have serious spirit. We are leaking goals at a silly rate which is very concerning but we all knew it was going to be tough regardless of the off field antics.
Bollox to that. If City were on a good cup run you'd consider a day trip. I know I would. I was born in London and brought up in Coventry and now live in Peterborough and still see as many home games as possible. Shame on all who deny COVENTRY CITY FOOTBALL CLUB! !
The hardest thing for me will be to stick to my principles. I hate SISU I hate what they have done to my football team forget the off field stuff it's what they've done to my team. They have reduced it to a shadow of its former self 2 yrs ago they openly ceased to invest in team and only did the necessary to keep on with the bullsheet of trying to purchase a stadium at a fraction of it actual value. Meanwhile they paid a scout to manage us no investment and now were in div 3 fast going to the conference. I cannot get past giving them more of my hard earned wages whilst they refuse to invest in our team. Now because they can't get what they want they've gone fudd you Cov fans we are taking our ball and gonna see if we can get some new ppeople to play with we won't invest £1mill in team but we will build a £35 mill stadium taking our so called investment to £90mill for a team we've let go into conference They will never ever build a new ground. I love my team and will go watch them but not in Northampton but away games where they (SISU) get didly squat whilst they say my team is to play in a different county. Come back to Cov and ill pay to watch my team as I have done for nearly 41 yrs don't and you don't get another penny of my hard earned dosh. It's u SISU who are refusing my money by taking my team to another town county. Tim fisher fudd off
Sutty totally agree but was just giving my thoughts on why I'm not going. Ok there is faults on all sides ACL/Council&SISU but SISU bought us with all of the costs we had ie rent already in place then because their neglect of team over last 2 yrs we ended in 3rd div of English Football we were screwed now instead of trying to build a new chuffing stadium they should start investing in team get us on field success which will bring off field success world sees they have invested in team brought success they'll get their Ricoh Stadium. If they not going to invest in team they are never going to build a new stadium. If they are not going to invest in team they should step aside allow someone else too because the only way they will ever get their so called £40 mill investment bback is to invest in team no other way can they get anything back. Maybe they should hand over the reigns give someone else a go and take maybe a pref bond that gives them their investment back upon us getting back in prem but its never going to happen without investment in 1st team.
