Not totally sure this is ideal result. Maybe a 0-0 bore draw might have been best.
Certainly better than a Rotherham win

Superb result. A point this afternoon would top off a good weekend.

even if we lose we keep the same gap to Roth so a great result. A win would be massive

Rotherham were more in this game than ours. To be that involved and still lose to a poor team will just further knock their confidence. This is good.

Why does anyone think that a team in the bottom 3 getting points is a good result?!

Great result, c'mon now City.

So despite what the conspiracy theorists said it didn't help Rotherham to have the matches postponed.

That surely was the result best for us? To be fair any result either way would have been good for us but this must be the best.

The difference between 19th and 20th is a lot less significant for us than that between 21st and 22nd.

Yeah they need 2 wins either way

So a draw would help us put Brum between us and relegation zone too

Exactly. Why would we want the team in the last remaining relegation place to gain a point on us?

Buzzing with that. Want Rotherham gone. Don’t care what position we finish in as long as it’s outside the relegation zone.

I did not know that Coventry United FA Cup was live on BBC. Just finished
Maybe a bit less love now for Birmingham City as we lost 5-1.

They are representing Coventry United not Coventry. I'm pretty sure that the club's founders were set up to wilfully work against the interests of CCFC, and probably still do. Am sure Grendel's 'friend' that used to get himself seconded onto the SBT committee, Kalns was it? was one of the main players behind them?? They no more represent me than Birmingham City Ladies do. By the same definition you could justify supporting Wasps, given they also play in Coventry.

Pretty sure they Cuckoo'ed into another clubs facilities and league status when they started up too - changing the name in the process. Can't quite recall who though.

Surprising response from people to sports people who do they best to represent the City of Coventry which they did today on BBC against stronger opponents who are likely to be more funded than Coventry United. They do represent Coventry and not at all the same way as Wasps.

Few midweek games of interest

In torn between both a draw would be good for us as keeps Blackburn and Preston in our sites. But I would like Derby to not pick up points.

Tuesday
Preston North End v Derby County
Sheffield Wednesday v Blackburn Rovers

Wednesday

Rotherham United v Middlesbrough - Middlesbrough win
Wycombe Wanderers v Bristol City - Bristol win
Birmingham City v Nottingham Forest - Forest win
Huddersfield Town v Barnsley - Barnsley win

Simple really we need Derby and especially Rotherham to keep losing, the rest don’t matter.

Stoke will be without Harry “giraffe”Souter so their back line looks a bit iffy. I reckon another 3 points could well be achievable. Let’s keep the pressure on Direby and Udders

so Stoke are 12th
if we could beat them we are 5 points behind them
would not be a bad return from the 1st season back
Also - Every season, MR has finished strongly, so why did we ever doubt it
