this is how I remember it, a kind of “well that’s the way of the world” as opposed to saying it’s what he wanted. I might be wrong though.

I don’t agree with this at all. To me the main issue is not tactical, it’s a load of unrest and a total lack of confidence in anything.

And I highly doubt Robins wanted this structure in place with these people- that we’ll never know though I guess.

to say that the only issues are tactics and cohesion to me betrays a lack of ability to see the bigger picture- something is very, very wrong and it’s not whether we go 4-3-3 or 4-5-1, its way deeper.

The structure is one that is successful throughout football, more individual coaches tailoring each player to each weakness.

I get we all want to make out Robins as a clueless bystander in all this, who’s had 45m and a structure that is used by most forward thinking teams foisted onto him against protestations.

he needs to be able to adapt. If he can’t we’ll move on to someone who can.

If that’s the case then his time will soon come to an end as King isn’t going to back down over the changes he’s made at this point.

there we go again, the typical SBT exaggeration and hyperbole- “Robins as a clueless bystander”- who has said that? Nobody so stop lying.

Robins has a massive crisis on his hands and he’s not far away from fighting for his job- but to say that he’s the reason for it is wrong. He’s accountable, but the way I see it he’s not totally responsible either. Theres more going on than just tactics, which is a really silly stance to be taking when you have the kind of shit going on that we have.

If what Saddles has said about Robins personal situation at the moment is correct it would be an absolute PR disaster to sack him now.

you may well be right there. But he’d better be sure he’s got the right replacement or it all stops with him, and his promotion plan will end very badly for him. It’s a tough one for him.

Literally everyone is saying robins didn’t want this structure and making out he’s not been part of it. He 100% would have been

He’s not the main reason of course. But he’s the guy the short term buck stops with. He gets the praise when we do well, he gets the kick when we don’t.

I think he’s got to get 4 points out of the next 2 games, if not we’re going to seriously have to look at if another can get the best out of these players

John Sillett heard he’d been sacked while recovering in hospital, and nobody really cared.

Different time I know, but I don’t think here would be any PR disaster tbh

Well we’re more on the same page now. Robins is accountable even if not responsible, that’s kind of how I see it. And that’s just the way it is, nobody will care about PR or anything else if the decision is we need someone new.

That's exactly how I see it, too. And Robins would quickly be forgotten. You support the club, not the staff.

Very good, I think they may do, I'll give specsavers a call, unfortunately my glasses won't change the fact that we're 21st in the table with one win in seven

I find the current form of our team baffling.

While it is true that we no longer have Harmer, Gykores or O’Hare I reckon that taken as a whole we have the best squad of players we have had since we dropped out of the top flight.

I cannot understand why they are not performing when we know - because we have seen it with our own eyes - each and every one of those who played today can play much better than they did.

I doubt if this is MR’s fault because one of his strengths is getting players to play at a level above that which they seem capable of.

I really don’t want MR to leave. I just hope that things will turn round sooner rather than later.

I think we can absorb another dozen of these 3-0 reverses without any fear of consequence.
Why on earth would we bring in to question the leadership of a PROVEN inadequately tactically naive manager?
Utter lunacy.

When it gets to the point that the manager accuses the players of ignoring his instructions it rarely ends well does it. It's usually a sign of a manager losing the dressing room or very serious backroom issues.

With his recent personal situation he might be inclined to walk away if things don't turn around in the next fee games, there's more important things in life and time out with his family might be what he needs on a personal level.

Would love Eustace and Fadz in charge… sorry all but we can’t be sentimental, and just can’t see things improving. I don’t think the relationship at the top is good!
