And he's said all season that he isn't going to the Ricoh until Sisu leave.

Which therefor makes the OP compeltey redundant.

1.No-one has said they are a Keys fan.

2. He has refused to go up the Ricoh anyway.

The defence rests m'lud.

He's a football pundit, his job is to have a broad knowledge of what's happening in football and then anchor a show on national radio........ about football. Why shouldn't he? Stop turning on Keys! (excuse pun)

I said yesterday its not about liking him or not its about what he is saying,, on national radio and twitter he must be saying something with subtance or he would be in some serious trouble....

Also, it looks like nearly everything he has said is true. All he gets for keeping us informed is abuse from some of his fellow fans. Would you go to home games if you was him?

Nothing loyal about attending that particular game. In fact there are thousands of stay
Aways this season ... I'm one of them. .. after 7 games I realised I could not and would not pay to watch drivel. Plus and more importantly I realised sisu investors were at war with the council. I got completely hammered by some fans here by the way for predicting what is now happening.

Loyalty is a mans love for his team. And to continue that no matter what league they are in. We will all continue to love the sky blues. But simply turning up is only a small part of being a fan. Imo

I think people who give up after 7 games are hardly true fans - though you are a typical sky blue one.

After writing that you have ensured that any comments you write will be largely ignored, imo...:jerkit:

Yes, you sit on your arse and watch SKY/listen to the radio, whilst we follow the lads home/away...and you re-join for the glory games.

Were you at the Chelsea game? Of course you were.....:jerkit::jerkit:

"Turning up is only a small part" what rubbish, if we didn't turn up what sort of club do you think we would end up with ?
I have sympathy for fans who cannot afford to go or logistics make it impossible, but other than that " boll0cks"

I like Keys and am not ashamed to say it.

This week he said 2 things

1) SISU are considering liquidating the club
2) Gary Hoffmans investor have not gone away they want more info due to the relegation

Lots of people called him all names under the sun but mostly that he is a liar.

Coventry City Council have since confirmed SISU are making threats about liquidation.
Gary Hoffman has since confirmed that his investors have not gone away and want more information.

So he is not a liar and I think the people who were rude about him need to have a look at themselves, about how quickly they attacked a fellow Coventry fan who is trying to raise publicity about what SISU are up to.

At the same time SISU did a charm offence press release that was quite convincing to some and made no mention of liquidation anywhere!!

They need to be exposed whenever they lie. Keys has the advantage to do this in the position he is in.

Now he has been proved right, lets get behind him and encourage him to expose SISU whenever they lie and who knows that may be forced to start been honest with us.

Keep giving Keys shit when he tells us something and he will inevitably not bother in the future.

If he had done that this week we may have been in the dark and SOME people would have started to believe in Tim Fishers lies.

If you love the club it is natural to start to believe Fishers lies because it is what you want to believe. You dont want to hear that your club will be liquidated.

You want to hear that we are getting a budget to bounce back. That we have learnt from our mistakes and wont be selling more players than we sign. That we are having really productive chats with ACL about buying the stadium and that Keogh will be our captain. (LIES)

On a stag weekend in Manchester I once went to a Stockport game at the same time Cov were at home. Does that mean that I'm not a real fan then?

Not much but it does irritate me when people say he loves the club as reasoning for his tweets being true.

About 30 some years ago me and few mates went to Blackpool for a day out, got pissed at lunchtime and ended up in the away end with about 6 other people (it was Wimbledon!) watching Blackpool/Wimbledon. Shit, does that mean that I am not a Sky Blue supporter??

Being a City fan doesn't preclude somebody from being a wanker.

Personally think we somebody who has a worldwide profile and is a Coventry resident to get behind a bid.

Somebody like this.

Very well put and 100% agree.
We should take advantage of Keys position which allows him to expose SISU at will.
If it wasnt for his tweets we would have no idea of what SISU were up to. Most of what he has said is true apart from the odd deadline being incorrect.

Yes he is true on a number of things - here's a little sample;

The footie commentator, 52, thought he couldn’t be heard when he mocked Walcott’s pink boots — then asked if someone in the studio had trumped.

Fans say they heard the gaffes while listening to online streaming of commentary for Tuesday night’s 4-1 Champions League mauling of Arsenal by Barcelona.

At one point 21-year-old Walcott went down and Richard was heard screaming: “Get up, you stupid little boy.”

Slammed ... Theo WalcottHe then added: “You’ve been s***e, son, in your daft pink boots — absolute rubbish.”

Richard, who shared a studio with match pundits Graeme Souness and Ruud Gullit at the game in Spain, allegedly also asked “Who’s farted? It’s not me” before jokingly blaming a crew member.

Listener Shaun Steed, 21 — a student from Stoke, Staffs — said: “It took me a while to work out what I was listening to.

“It sounded like a fan off the terraces whose voice was picked up amid the commentary, then I realised it was Richard Keys

Quality stuff and there's more;

Shamed football pundit Richard Keys described a black player as “choco” in an outrageous racist outburst.

Keys made the shocking remark while rehearsing for a Sky broadcast with ex-footballers Graeme Souness and Ray Wilkins.

Referring to black David Johnson, a potential Scottish international, he casually called him “Choco Jocko

Nice one Richard - and there is many, many more.

When people complain about the likes of Manish and Claridge, both with Leicester interests, being at best 'apathetic' to Cov's relegation (on the football league show), i can't help laughing at those COV fans who then rant and turn on one of their own (keys) for trying to disseminate news about COV. If I was him, I'd a) find a different/ more accommodating club to support and or b) never tweet about COV again. He's got better things to do.
