50-51 points should be enough. I think we'll be safe by Peterborough game.

Gillingham - Win
Port Vale - Draw
Brentford - Heavy Loss
Stevenage - Win
Crewe - Draw
Bradford - Win (SP will want to get one up on their manager)
Mk Dons - Win
Peterborough - Loss
Swindon - Loss
Oldham - Win
Wolves - Loss
Sheff UTD - 5-0 loss

I predict 17 points out of 36

I'm not too worried at the moment, I think we'll probably get enough points over the next 6 or so games to feel pretty comfortable. Our run in is tough though so we need to make sure we pick up at least a few points over the next 5 or 6 games.

Useless trying to predict individual games. We're as likely to beat Brentford then lose at home to Stevenage! Think we will scramble the necessary points - prob about 14 from the 12 matches left which will leave us on 55 - same as last season. Next season could be a nightmare, if we survive that long. Can't see SISU hanging on if they lose JR.

I hope you're right but I thought we'd beat Colchester, Shrewsbury, Tranmere, Carlisle and Notts County

All depends on a) who stays fit between now and the end of the season and b) Pressley fixing the dire defensive problems which have become more pronounced of late. Wilson and Delfouneso should score the goals but it's how many we're conceding, even with a goalkeeper in the form of his life, that will be the deciding factor.

We have only got 9 points in the last 10 league games. And if that wasn't bad enough 7 of these teams are still below where we are now. We lost 3-0 to the bottom club. We were lucky to get a 0-0 draw against the club in 23rd place.

I think we will be safe as the clubs below us still have to catch us up, but we are only 6 points out of the bottom 4 and only 10 points off 24th place. We have 12 games left but we have to play 7 of the clubs above us. And out of the 5 clubs below us that we have to play two of them are directly below us so we have to play 9 of our top 13 league placed opponents

We do seem to fare better against the better teams in this division. I think we'll be safe before we hit the last few games.

Oddly, and I have no agenda or axe to grind relegation would have no effect at all on me. The other 2 relegations had me crying in my beer. League 1 / League 2 all the same to me when I don't have much hope of us being in a successful promotion campaign in the foreseeable future.

It's going to be a real struggle. Can't see us picking up many more than 7 points from those games. Think we'll be relying on other teams losing in the final games

We've been playing teams below us and have struggled. The run in looks tough by comparison. I cant see where the points are going to come while we're leaking goals. Let's hope the bottom two or three don't start to pick up points

Why It's exactly what i'd do .

It's been brought up a few times on here in threads and strangely enough ,the most fervent who express to being the most ardent among our support shy away from the the idea of being a benefactor to the Club .

I don't get It ,how much money does an individual need ?

You'd lose the lot. Every single penny. There is £70 million debt there already.

I would do it as part of a consortium. Share the risk. Just not on my own.

It's Coventry City we're talking about here, so the only prediction has to be.

Coventry v Port Vale - Think we will win, draw or lose this game.
Brentford v Coventry - A possible win, or it could be a draw, or we might lose.
Coventry v Stevenage - A chance of a victory, but also of a draw and likewise, a defeat.
Crewe v Coventry - Now this one we could most certainly win for sure. We might draw though, or could well get beaten.
Coventry v Bradford - This one I am confident of 3 points, or maybe 1, or possibly none at all.
Coventry v MK Dons - Ditto
Peterborough v Coventry Ditto
Coventry v Swindon - Ditto etc.
Oldham v Coventry - Etc.
Coventry v Wolves Etc..
Sheff Utd v Coventry - Etc.

Ad infinitum.

If it rolls over we should do a sky blues talk consortium to buy the club

depends on many things. but a standard weekend should get rid of that much

to be fair, even a 1% interest per year, you surely couldn't spend that in the amount of interest gained? 1 million per year? ish

Just had a thought if we go 2 last 2 games of the season we will be playing Wolves with Leon Clarke and Sheff Utd with Michael Doyle.

Surely not needing 2 wins to stay up..

It is said that a lot of this debt is just numbers between different parts of who supposedly run the club.

Our club was said to be debt free. Now we hear that they have put in up to 40m. Offer them 30m to go. Move us home. Income would shoot up by millions. No interest payments or fees to SISU. Negotiate with ACL. Do everything that SISU should do. Pay for the Higgs share. Sort out the defence. Talk to the fans. Most of us would then go back.

Before you know it you would be making a profit that you could put back into the club.

Ok, so who's going to pay them £30m for a league club with no/little assets just to make sisu go?

The value of the club to any buyer is £0, but only provided all debts and charges are written off.

SISU have a liability on their hands and no way of recovering the money they spent, that is a problem they created for which they can only blame themselves.

They can blame other organisations but ultimately they have to take responsibility for their own decisions.
