The thing is we are all hoping we can get a team to compete at the top of the league this season ,having a taste of it last!
We just want a successful season......FOR ONCE IN MOST SUPPORTERS LIFETIME
Thats why nearly all city fans are concerned
Its ok saying we need 5-6 new players to put out a decent 11 but what back up players are there when we start getting injuries or players losing form like last season. Its no good relying on kids and players not good enough as replacements if we are serious about challenging this season
More importantly TM I seem to recall said something after the end of last season about trimming down the squad. So if that is correct, we have to accept that he is looking for more versatile & adaptable squad members rather than direct replacements.

We very well could have a smaller and versatile, and adaptable squad.... what happens when they get injured? It won't matter about being adaptable and versatile if there isn't anybody left to be adaptable and versatile.
