Axed. Incredibly arrogant and dismissive of us when they beat us. No tears shed.

Good. Given the run they've got coming up we could do with them picking up their form.

Remember our 1st season in L1, and we crassly produced a 'tour t-shirt' to imply that we are merely 'here for a bit' (that went well!)... Well, after seeing that prick stroll around the pitch after the result like a returning hero from WW2, he was living that gimmick!

He was right about one thing though... He would not be in the Championship for long!

Yeah, but they play several of the teams around us before that so we could do with them going on a bit of a run and we can worry about our game when the time comes.

They should be much better from the off with Tindall gone you would have thought , which is perfect, because their next 3 games are Birmingham, Forest and Rotherham.

I’ll put Frank Lampard high on that list.

Woodgate is amongst the front runners for the job apparently. He's recently joined the coaching staff there but after his struggles at Boro it would be a bizarre appointment.

Lampard is the bookies favourite but I wonder if his ego/pride would allow him to drop down to the Championship so soon after Chelsea.

His uncle Harry is a bit of
Bournemouth fan how about him for six months. I suspect sacking Tindall wasn’t just due to yesterday’s result, long term coaches leaving new ones coming in an ex- manager too.

Bad time for Bournemouth fans with this added to their favourite team Southampton getting taken for 9.

If Bournemouth are still in the Championship when the parachute payments run out - that is when it will get interesting.

They would find their natural level without all the money which is probably league one.

Can't remember his interview or didn't hear it. He was a non entity player at a non entity club. I don't like Bournemouth, I find the false narrative around them being plucky nauseating, they're backed by a oligarch.

Even with the parachute payments if they fail to achieve promotion this year I suspect they're going to be in serious trouble. Baring in mind in the PL they lost £32m after tax according to last March's accounts. No club in the PL was more dependent on broadcast rights money than Bournemouth. I think nearly 90 per cent of their total revenue came from that one source.

Also their wage bill is still likely to be one of the biggest in the Championship - if not the biggest - and their match day revenue even in normal circumstances is likely to be one of the smallest.

I think they still owe tens of millions in transfer instalments as well.

Their owner is extremely wealthy but he isn't anywhere near rich enough to sustain Bournemouth beyond this season without promotion.

I can confirm this is true. Hardly ever saw Bournemouth shirts in the town when in L1, only saints shirts.

Didn't they cheat FFP rules and only get away with a fine because they were in the Prem?

I won't shed any tears for Bournmouth and hope they miss out on the play offs. They seem a cynical bunch and too full of themselves.

I just worry that Brum, Forest & Wednesday play them when they are vulnerable and they perk up to play us.

I think Bournemouth will do okay now, looks to me Tindall was a problem players get managers sacked and that looks what has happened i think their next three games are against teams below us.

Rumour doing the rounds in Brum if Blues lose their manager is on his bike we could have a load of clubs around us on new manager bounce don’t want that.

It was a weird appointment anyway, Howe's long serving right hand man.

If you sack a club legend, you need to change the backroom staff almost completely.

They have got shot of a lot of last year's team already and made over 110 million. Add the parachute payments and they will of made more than they did last sesson. Will have to see how much they spend next season, will give an indication if the owner is going to back them again or bored of it all now.

There are still large contracts to service I read somewhere £20k a week is a minimum contract there times that by a 25 man squad plus more for a lot of that squad it tells it’s own story I bet Tindall will have been on more than £20k a week which will have had to paid up I would think promotion for them is essential.

With all due respect all you have put is supposition and very little knowledge. Yes of course promotion is essential but it is for all relegated and over extended clubs. The first season down is by and large a free hit with the full parachute payments and Bournemouth have jettisoned many high earners off the wage bill and got exceptional fees for many of their better players. COVID season 20-21 has made all clubs look at their situation with new urgency but Bournemouth rely on gate receipts less than most I would suggest that they are actually looking at two or three seasons down the line before they hit the buffers.
I suspect they got shot of Tindall because they could see promotion disappearing with their loss of form, similar to us in 01-02 and they are seeking to arrest that before it is too late.

Well the £20k a week minimum per squad member was in an recent article in the Daily Mail which we know always tell the truth.
