So Pressley has joined fans in bemoaning yesterday's keepers time wasting antics.

Is it just me or is this not a bit hypocritical considering Murphy must be one of the worst for it when we have the lead?

In fact I don't think there is a keeper who wouldn't take advantage of an easy way to waste time.

Most of the time it goes unnoticed by the officials, not just yesterday's ref.

Of course it is hypocritical, but that's the nature of football.

I think with respect to yesterday SP's highlighting of time wasting was more down to the fact that the referee was absolute s***!

Yeah I guess your right. Just seems that a lot this season were being made out like we're being hard done by, but its a carbon copy of what we do at times

I try not to be a hypocrite in normal life, but football is the one time I'll actively enjoy it.
Fleck goes down easily under a soft challenge - "For fuck sake ref, sort it out"
Opposition player gets crunched with a 2 footed challenge at neck height by Christie - "Get up you diving fanny"

Didn't think their keeper wasted that much time. He was on a yellow

I think that's the point. He was wasting time knowing that the ref wouldn't have the bottle to give him a second yellow for it.

On one occasion the crowd behind the goal counted 20 seconds before the keeper released the ball. Bearing in mind the ref made us retake a throw in after taking it 3 yards behind where it went out and we threw it back even further you would have thought that he would stick to the rules.
