Things have changed,Cheapest season ticket's in Div 1, Hospitality being offered two for one,it smacks of desperation
to get some cash coming in.

But the biggest problem facing sisu in any of their guises is the loss of the fans respect. All business's have to earn the trust of it's lifeblood--the paying customer, without them supporting you you die. NOPM.

It will work. There's not one reason why it won't. SISU will fund the losses - let them then. The well cannot be bottomless, that is a fact.

No evidence after what - 3 months- gotta be on the wind up right? How would it ever work in this short time?

As you were NOPM

We didn't have the most expensive season tickets last season and there were plenty of offers through the season for hospitality? Anybody remember that groupon offer?

How does that mean nopm is working?

Well the trust has tried its hardest to end it have they not? Gonbe to the local papers saying they no longer support it! Has the membership been asked how it feels about that or was it yet another sign of the dictatorial style they have adopted? Certainly any organisation claiming to be democratic as a selling point surely should put it to its members if their tactics change so significantly shouldn't they?

I don't know, businesses eh? Doing stuff when it suits them. Damn the club and their evil marketing. It'll never catch on.

But that's the point, those going to Sixfields don't believe in NOPM so how are you going to 'step up' the campaign and stop them from going?

Ok Stu, what are those inside Sixfields, who apparently don't like being in Northampton either, doing about changing things?

But they do - and the trust are trying to kill stone dead NOPM just so they can cosy up to sisu!

Surely the members should have a vote on such a potentially devisive turn of events - or are they afraid the members will not agree with their stance?

Would be interesting to see the members views would it not?

First time on the hill last week. Really enjoyed meeting up with some old friends, which for me what I've missed more than anything. Even had a chat with my old mate Steveo87 before he went in and pretty much agreed with each other on everything. Saw one woman go in with SISU out on her t shirt. It's odd that we all seem to be united on the bigger picture but end up arguing over the small print.

Nothing. But at least they're being honest about why they are there.

Doing Nothing isn't good enough in this dire situation Torchy.
If they truly want to get the team back in Coventry I'd like to see them do something from inside.
Allegedly they don't like being there. Well act.

Like those on the hill who "allegedly" don't like being there either.

Those on the hill are making a protest. Letting people know they care about their club in this dire situation. But they aren't going to support a regime that has done this.
Don't care if there are 6, 60 or 600. I admire their stance. And I may join them.
Those inside the ground say they don't like being in Sixfields but still go, knowing full well they are prolonging the misery.
In my view that is so selfish. And misses the big picture completely.
If the Sixfields few were to protest inside the ground it would be helpful. I don't think they do?
Do they want to play in Northampton?

So if it's all about protest then stand outside the stadium. Surely, that would have more impact?

So people need to do something and 'act' yet you've done absolutely nothing. Not even made it to the hill.

Hill 83 & co, I've boycotted the Sixfield games. On principle. This after missing 5 home games since 1959. (I was on life support at the time). & I go to many, many away games from Inverness to Plymouth over those years. Hell will freeze over before I watch City at Sixfields. And I suspect 90% of us City fans are of the same mind. My protest, so far, is to boycott. I think that's what 90%+ fans are doing. And will continue to do.
I've been to Shrewsbury, Crawley & Carlisle. No Northampton for me.
The fans inside Sixfields are a real let down for us other fans. Purely selfish. They just don't see our club is being ravaged by these Sisu people. At least in being inside there - show your disapproval. But they don't. They are complicit in the collapse of our club.

You mean where protests have been banned?

Not one for the thinking are we?

Has it? I've not heard about that. When did that all happen? Well, stand on the approaches to the stadium then. What about that? Oh forgot, they wouldn't be able to see the pitch if they "protested" there, would they?

EDIT: Got it. They can't protest in the bowl by the turnstiles. Plenty of other places to "protest".

I have heard that unless some serious money is paid over by Hinckley United soon, they too could be out of business, I have heard they need to find in the region of £190k, quick sharpish...cracking ground that holds 4000 and has a league certificate, only few miles from Coventry, and quite a few City fans live there or come from near there - including John Snape! could this be a site worth considering? plenty of land too.

Look while you have 1500 going to Northampton and more breaking then NOPM will fail.

It does not matter what the Trust or anyone else says the people that go will still go.

Just a shame they couldn't stay away for a couple of games then things may have been different, but they may be happy to stay in Northampton that is there choice.

Unfortunately I am starting to get bored of all this and i am starting to not care anymore will end up like 1000's of others an ex City supporter what a sad day.

can't help but try and defend my home club but it is very depressing after over 40 years PUSB
