Read what I fecking said you complete clown. I said they had shook hands on a deal and so that should have been that. Everything else is irrelevant as I was referring to my personal belief that the demands were excessive.

Fisher I suspect was 'happy' with it in the sense that it was all they were ever likely to get in the circumstances. It was a compromise. A 'deal'. That doesn't mean to say he, I or anyone else thinks that 400K per year is right for a league 1 club, but clearly at the time they were happy to move forward, and that's what they should have done.

So, what rent for a non league club? We're nearly there.

No winners in this .

I thought you'd be happy with that Ash?

I haven't really shifted my position all that much. I've been critical of SISU and ACL from the start, and remain so. Events have taken over to a certain degree though, and SISU (via TF) have become more erratic over the last week or so and I think the end is close for them.

What happens beyond that is the great unknown.

I don't think Grendel and others have delusional trust in sisu I think they felt that the business model of ccfc was and is utterly unsustainable and they are completely correct. Where my opinion differs from theirs is that sisu cannot be trusted by their prospective business partners and this will not change. Therefore what future is there here for them?none!

Grendel et al also saw some of what we have now. Seems there will be a coming together of sorts. I never support the likes of SISU. Some never support ACL.

Believe you me Monsieur Ferret, I'm not happy with any of this, its been a miserable debacle at CCFC for the best part of 10 years now. I'd just like to see some stability and an owner who runs things ethically and responsibly and works constructively and openly with its landlords, sponsors and supporters.

Still at least 1 poster I can think of still to climb down though! A bit like Custer's last stand I'm sure Godiva will make an appearance to defend owners that he has never criticised or questioned to my knowledge soon enough. I really do respect those that have had the bottle to come on and say their views and stance have changed over recent events. We are all in the same corner after all.....

We can hope. I yearn for the great GMK days where we filled the boredom between games by discussing weighty issues like "Is mayonnaise on chips acceptable?". Somebody would usually be called a c-unit by page 2 and the thread would go on for weeks, but I still prefer that to all this High Court malarky.

Thought you'd have melted Toblerone or something on chips?
