Trawl the Internet and you'll see reference after reference to Joy Seppala and her 'balls of steel'. She and her business play hard-ball.

By withholding the rent, they put the Ricoh owners in an untenable situation. Capitulate and SISU get a lower rent and/or a place at the negotiating table to secure full or partial ownership of the ground and it's facilities; and if they press SISU with the response of a winding order, it's that 'aggression' that closes the club.

It's a position that sits in line with SISU's reputation as being ruthless negotiators. Don't you remember how they got everyone to hand their shares over, free gratis.
