Im am getting word that a real strong protest would kill off any fight that the "odd bods" of Sissu have left.

This has been spoken about before as we know but the time is right and the Norwich Game seems to be the best time for it.

I think we should stay clear of this battle - what will happen will happen.
We risk ending up as useful idiots for either side and in the end all we do is disrupt the club and the team.

Fans start getting involved means our attendtions are took away from the team. Leave it to the Suits and concentrate on singing for Skjy Blues

think you under estimate SISU........... members of which probably do not even attend the matches..... so sack the board huh? and replace it with another one that reports to people who are based in posh offices in London. Right now they know that they have at least one party interested in taking their dodgy investment off their hands, and are used to playing hard ball in rescueing then selling on failing companies. A few fans are not going to change their objectives that easily - and lets face it with the apathy of our fans it will only be a few

There is a reason why the woman who is CEO at SISU was once described as having "balls of steel" - when it comes to business deals she does not take prisoners. It will come down to money nothing else.

Personally I am looking forward to seeing the team play and enjoying the football against Norwich - shall be going to fully support the team no other reason

Depends how much value on fan power. End of the day, its OUR club as the fans. So surely we have the right to say what we want, and when we are looking at a group who are stripping our club of all its worth and leading us to a potential demise, or "one of us" (A coventry city fan) then surely fans would like to show this in th emost public and noticeable way possible?

Actually it isnt our club its SISU's.

But yes the fans have every right to voice there opinions, would never argue otherwise. We live as a club beyond our means it isnt a question of SISU cashing in the assets to profit from it, they are doing it so the club survives. We dont like it but in the real world of harsh realities there is no choice. GH might be coming in with an alternative but all he is doing is replacing one debt with another. If he was this gleaming white knight some here think then he would simply buy the club invest the money and write his (investors) debt off, but this isnt a fairy tale and that wont happen.

and no i am not a great supporter of SISU .... just more realistic than some

I have not seen anything so far from either side that says anything they do will significantly improve things at CCFC in the near future

If a protest is something you and others want to do then go ahead.......... me i just want to see some decent football from my team

It is really not OUR club - it is actually SISU's club. Just like Odeon is not OUR cinema even if it may be our favorite place to watch a movie.

How exactly are SISU asset stripping 'our' club?
And how can we be sure their business plan is worse than any plan of GH or anyone else?

I feel SISU short sightedness and lack of vision is what has cost us.

Since they took over they could have, for a little extra money upfront, re signed both Westwood and Gunnar. If they had done this, then this summer we could have had perhaps another 5 million or so income from these player sales. Instead weve got exactly fuck all. Both players would have resigned a year ago for improved offers, with the understanding they could be sold if larger/premiership clubs come in. So this summer, we would have still lost the players exactly the same, but made money. Their futility has cost us, and it continues to do so.

I agree that Hoffman could be 'just as bad' and nobody is a miracle worker. But for me, if both groups gave and took exactly the same, then just having a genuine Coventry fan at the head of the group is enough to sway it for me.

I would really be up for a strong and powerful protest to try to "make" SISU sell up, but I know that this is coventry city and most of our fans are boring and are not passionate, therefore we will never have a big enough protest to be succesful. Shame.

I am sorry to be such a bore, but I am not ready to ask SISU to go away until someone places a genuine offer that will leave the club in a stronger position.

A bit harsh to call Coventry fans boring my friend, i think it's best we leave the big boys stuff to the big boys and let us ultra passionate fans see what unfolds, i don't think a protest will make a jot of difference IMO, keep the faith my friend!!!!

I'm looking for the day when the 15,000 REAL investors show up at City. Their empty seats are waiting each week, but they rarely show. In a half empty stadium surely the increased income from missing fans in this big city of ours would help the club out of this mess. Forget Hoffman, or any other big wedge man, consortium or whatever. The true investors have consistently not shown up. A few on here talk about not bothering for this or that reason over the years. It would be lovely to see them. the real investors.
