There also competition for crfc. You know the other sporting club with over a hundred year history in the city. What did they do exactly?

The only thing that italia is really bothered about is the money he makes from his field. He has been shown up as hypocrite time and time again; it wasn't so long ago that he was attacking those who refused to back sisu.

Italia says this and that about getting rid of SISU, when everyone knows he's in business with Wasps, course he wants SISU gone.
I can remember he was so pro SISU, wouldn't have a word against them. I think it changed about the time he went into business with wasps co-incidentally.

It's clear to see exactly what is going on.

The wider footballing world would most certainly care as to what has happened. They genuinelly seem to not know what's going on though and just hear that we have 'problems' but not to the extent that they are

My support of Sisu went out the window in a period before we moved to Northampton.
Wasps had nothing to do with it as they were unknown at the time.
If you want to make quotes get your facts right.
How can Sisu affect my business ? Clueless as ever !!

You don't want Sisu gone then ? You support them ?

I look at it quite simplistically.

If Wasps left Coventry tomorrow, CCFC would be no closer to owning or building a stadium in Coventry due to SISU relationships with everyone, meaning the future was still very bleak.

If SISU left Coventry, the new owners (and there would be new owners) may be able to wipe the slate clean and we MAY have a future

Sadly, neither look likely in the short term

If Wasps left then I think we'd have a good chance of being able to get our hands on the stadium . If SISU left the new owners would still be hamstrung with little revenue because of Wasps and their stranglehold on the extra cash the Ricoh generates. Also, the actions of CCC et al have damaged the club for generations regardless of who the owners are/were.

Sisu have not changed anything so don't expect fans, ratepayers or organisations to ever get behind then again.

Once Sisu have gone everything else will drop back into place.

Well except the Cat 2 academy, and so forth.

To believe everything will be sunshine and light when SISU have gone show naivety. Do you think that Wasps will suddenly open up all income streams that as a hard nosed business they need to maximise just because SISU have gone? Do you think the bondholders would welcome a risk to their investment by Wasps suddenly cosying up with CCFC and giving them what they need? Seriously?

Disagree, they will talk deal if it was empty surely? At present it doesn't matter who owns ccfc as there are limited options. The best we can hope for is an extended deal at th Ricoh.

There are now various splinter groups around with various actions.

The observer takes the most proactive stance on this.

Surely the trust has to get behind the campaign. In my mind they now need to make some form of statement expressing dismay at wasps actions regarding the Higgs centre and it's lack of enthusiasm to continue discussions with the football club.

It should advise all CCFC fans to boycott wasps matches going forward and ask the CET for a column to express the view and reasoning.

The threat to the club is wasps. There needs to be a concerted pressure from the club regarding it's heritage.

Ultimately wasps image has to be tarnished. All communications should centre around 1883, jimmy hill, 35 years in the top flight, the F A Cup etc.

It needs to galvanise some national sympathy and some awareness that heritage is threatened by a London based club looking to remove it from the city.

The extreme goal (difficult to achieve) is to totally tarnish the brand image if wasps. When their name is mentioned the association is completely negative. The organisation that ruined a club with a great tradition and many, many famous names. When a wasps fan is asked who he supports he should have his head down - ashamed and embarrassed.

This obviously would not happen over night but even the threat may work,

It has to make the statement.[/QUOT

I've been away so apologies if I have got the wrong end of the stick but isn't the trusts position and there being different groups pretty predictable as it's what happened with Sixfields ie the trust stayed neutral and others ran different campaigns. It Would be way better if that wasn't the case but I just keep having conversations with people who want to protest about what's going on and will join in whether it's against wasps, CCC or sisu. If it's wasps that's the priority it just needs someon even on this thread to take a lead and there are plenty who will follow.

With Sisu here we had no chance of getting the stadium. War War instead of Jaw Jaw put paid to that.
While they are still here we will further decline.
Nobody wants anything to do with them and we are dragged down with them.
To get access to revenues you need to buy them you can't just expect them.
Wasps are entertaining them at the moment but it appears others have had enough.

How many more times. Wasps will NEVER give the club more access to revenues. They need it themselves! Regardless of whether SISU were here or not.

The thing is Blackpool have exactly the same problem.
They only care when it is in their own back yard. It's a shame but that's life.

I agree, Torch, but I am telling you and I think you know, a lot of people will not protest against something if they believe it favours Sisu.

We can spend all day saying what people should and shouldn't do, but Sisu are so disliked a lot of people cannot get past that point.

It is what it is and judging from on here, the people who hate Sisu aren't budging any time soon.

Look at the support we got from Northampton Towns Trusts. For all their proud talk about being the original supporters trust and the reasons that they formed one in the first place they seem to disappear when we needed their assistance.

In stark contrast to that it wasn't that long before before they came crying at our door when David Show me the Money Cardoza shafted them and I'm pleased to say that our trust covered themselves in glory and were more than keen to help. Especially when they had to visit us in the FA cup.

Similarly when people were having a go at Jan and the Trust for going to the first Wasps game, Jan said he didn't give a "fuck" for Wasps fans.

Everyone is insular Everyone wants others to help fight their corner but when it comes to someone else they can't be arsed.

I'm not bothered if it helps SISU or not. The problem is that SISU are perceived by most that they don't want to do best by the club and let's face it that's not surprising given all that they have done. Even now they're playing games, doing the same things expecting different results. It's madness. How are you supposed to help the club when the owners aren't with their constant bluffing, misinformation and playing the victim when the truth is it's actually just their own chickens coming home to rest. If the club is the head SISU are the neck and can turn the head in whichever direction they want. It's up to them really. If they start playing with a straight bat and come up with a real long-term plan of what's best for the club not SISU's investors then I'll get on board with it regardless of how much SISU benefits from it.

Problem is with the game playing that's been going on for weeks now I don't want to do anything, simply because they're to busy playing games instead of coming up with a real and tangible plan.

Step one, come clean about third-party litigation.

Step two, go public about the 17 points that CA wants at the Ricoh.

We can't back BS so tell us what is really going on if you want us to do best by the club because until then the best anyone can do by the club is go to games and support the team. It's SISU through their actions who have isolated themselves but many on here for some reason want you to believe that it's the fans who have isolated SISU.

If they hadn't come here we could still be in Northampton. Don't doubt for a second that the Wasps deal was not known by Sisu and that's the real reason we came back.

Sisu are the cause, full stop, yet a few fans only want to tackle the effects their actions have forced.

Sisu can't get us out this mess so they need to go.

Every party named above has acted in a stupid way that has damaged our club.

The fight is against all of them.

We all have the common factor of wanting the best for our club and to know our club has a future.

Let's all fight for the club against all stakeholders till we get answers and a way forward.
