ok i know our results are not all down to bad luck, but leeds apart where we nicked a point,we should have had 1 if not 3 against palace,3 against reading ,3 against blackpool and at least a point against burnley,2 of our home losses we have had a player sent off (i know leicester did as well) i just think if we can start passing the ball forward a bit quicker we might get the (luck) we desperatley need ,as much as i like mcsheffery he has been absolutely dreadful this season ,along with baker i think they are our worst 2 this year with bell not far behind.now deegan is regaining fitness and gaels suspension coming to an end lets hope they can freshen the midfield up.

i may be deluded but we will not lose saturday..a point at the very least and hopefully three

Wish someone would tell Thorn/Clingan this - Clingan is more than capable of some great balls forward and Cody is capable of running onto them but either Clingan doesn't want to, or Thorn is telling him not to!

And yes, you might be slightly deluded

I think Thorn was a bit deluded after the game Tuesday. He said at half time we should have been winning. Granted we played well but apart from Cody's chance we didn't create too much. Wheras Millwall even in the first half had the better of the chances.

We need to start playing more direct and forward football. The neat and nice football in our own half is not doing us any good.

Its less to do with luck and more to do with indiscipline and poor concentration. The reason we dropped the points mentioned is down to not playing for the full 90 minutes and making poor mistakes.

Why should we have had points against this teams where we have failed to play or hang on to the final whistle?

luck !! we are shit that what it boils down to yes we have some good hungry young players but we are littered with shit jounery men and has beens that about sums the team up bell, baker, and mac have been shit this season clingan has had the odd good game we have the kids carrying the so called pros, look how well they did against millwall second half was a disgrace without new players we are going down simple enough to see. i will be there saturday hoping for a win but looking at news now they say we will be unchanged for the saints !! god i hope not those players do not deserve the chance to play might aswell bring all the young kids through as thats all we will be left with in jan if we are lucky!!, have a feeling we will ship a few goals on saturday

Not forgetting the "luck" we had when we got the non-penalty against Derby, without which we would probably have two points less, and only one win all season.

The Juke penalty miss keeps being brought up all the time as if our whole season would have been so much better if only he'd scored it.

Didn't Reading miss a penalty during the same game which would have put them 2-1 up whilst they were massively on top?

The points we have are a fair enough reflection of the performances we've had.

You can analyse all you want and have reason to say we were unlucky. The truth is yes perhaps we were here and there but it's not enough to use it as an excuse for our current position in the league. A game of football has slices of good fortune and miss fortune but it's how you deal with it on the pitch over 90 minutes that matter. I think it's true we can play some nice football and 'keep ball' helps the confidence a lot. However it's clear we miss a talisman in the middle of the park and at present some one who can hit a barn door unlike Juke when given the opportunity. I like him a lot but to rely on him for goals would be fool-hearty. Cody may come good but can't contribute every goal. A few bonfire rockets up the pretty little back sides of one or two should also help and I'm thinking the likes of Mc.Sheffrey here and Baker.

nothing to do with luck, we are simply too inexperienced and not good enough

We need an attacking midfielder with quality, 9/10 our moves break down when Mcsheffrey or Baker get on the ball.
