Unless there was in your opinion a big reward onthe horizon and the amount of time, effort and abuse you have taken to this point means you refuse to walk away with nothing. Also your ego may not accept you failing.
However my gut instinct tells me anyone in those circumstances will end up with nothing anyway, but what do I know.

Back on topic.........watched the video and spoken to some mates via phone and text. From the video I know at least three blokes seen in it, excluding TF. 2 of the three are known amonsgt other fans (maybe unfairly) to stick up for Fisher and the owners more than most - it seems they stepped in when some yobs started aggressively asking very helpful questions like "why are you killing our club Tim?" (move over Martin Bashir) , but did so in a way that inflamed things more. Don't forge that there were just some scummy people nearby who got involved, never mind pro- or anti-SISU.

All in all, some aggro at a train station doesn't seem worth 9 pages on a thread, and nor does TF catching a train seem to warrant a situation that flares up to the point where 2 lads at least get punched in the face (from what I know privately). TF has got a lot to answer for, but it has to be in a way were (as I have in the past) you approach him in a civil manner and ask questions in a logical and insightful way, no simply spit bile at the bloke.

I do understand why people want to vent their frustration but please don't do it in an aggressive way; yes, the bloke gets people's backs up due to his perceived haughty and non-apologetic manner, and for his non-recognition of his many failures including the catastrophic decision to tear up the Ricoh lease following the negotiations he bundled through his "bull in a China shop" negotiation style and general lack of trustworthiness.....but none of that will be exposed or highlighted if fans just call him names. He is bang to rights on so many topics, including the laughable attempt to create a rent negotiation level by pretending we'll move to a new stadium, that it really is a missed opportunity if fans just yell at him. Plus the bloke, despite his failures, doesn't deserve physical confrontation - nobody does. The bloke's entitled to get a train without twats screaming at him - but it also really does stick in the gut when people will defend him and stick up for him after he's steered the club to the sorry state it is in today.

You also wanted people who went to Sixfields to be involved in a car crash. At least threads like this bring out the best in people ay?

Again, this is all down to people just wanting to make themselves feel better, peer pressure, trying to impress their mates for SISU hate points rather than actually wanting to get answers from him or put any pressure on him.

I don't agree with people jumping in banging on about SISU putting millions in, what a bellend. Although I don't see the issue if people stepped in and said to chill out a bit to calm it down.

When has Tim Fisher ever given answers? Asking him nicely is no more productive than shouting wanker in his face.

Really? It's weird how a couple of people in the thread who have had conversations with him normally haven't felt the need to start shouting and they probably got a bit further.

What's behaving like that actually achieved?

So what answers did they get by having a conversation with him? That's the point I'm making. The same as shouting in his face. Tim Fisher doesn't answer to the supporters of this club, that's abundantly clear. I don't know why you're pretending it would have been different if a different approach had have been taken. It never has and never will.

See Don and Mart's posts, they would have got further than shouting in his face. Just because they aren't answers people want to hear, they would have been able to put their questions to him properly.

If you are struggling to see the difference between shouting in their face or trying to talk to them properly and discuss it you should probably go and take your seat in knuckle dragger's corner. Nobody is saying speaking to him will make him pour his heart out and reveal all either.

Again, what has that actually achieved?

Who would have more chance of getting something out of Fisher when quizzing him, somebody like OSB / DazzleTommyDazzle / Duffer etc etc or a pissed up bloke shouting Wanker in his face to show off to his mates?

Physical or verbal abuse is never right or helpful. There is no justification for it no matter how much you might "understand" the reasons behind it. Behaviour like this will continue to happen not because it is CCFC but because it is how a sizeable minority think that's the way to achieve solutions to most problems.

It is not ok to accept such behaviour because it is passionate football fans and somehow that makes it acceptable.

Will TF answer any question straight, only in his mind I suspect. There is always an element of truth to what he says BUT ...............

TF likes to "engage" with people, however because of the situation at the club that does place a responsibility on him to risk assess not only his personal safety but the safety of others then to act accordingly. Yes he has a right to catch a train but because of his position & involvement he also has a duty of care (not just for himself). Unfortunately we do not live in a world where rights to do something are risk free

That said this incident has done more to damage the reputation of city fans and judging by this thread to further divide them than it has to confront TF or get answers or any point across. Cant help thinking that will amuse rather than worry TF

Those defending the SISU ownership and investment are simply deluded, they have bought in to the TF spiel without question or thought in my opinion. But they are entitled to their opinion however wrong it might be

of course just my opinion to which I have a right to offer

I'm not too sure it's exactly the same as a gang of people cornering somebody on their own and shouting in their face in that manner. That is wrong whether it happens to you, me, S Gilbert, Fisher, Ann Lucas etc etc or any other names people want to use as examples.

It's a bit different to pointing out things they say or taking the piss a little bit isn't it? Especially as you like to give just as much yourself and then get a bit back

The man in the hat is Kevin Heffernan i think, he's been in the CT a fair few times and i think he is involved with the Irish supporters group. That may be Jonathan Strange in the middle.

Fisher doesn't give a shit about any of you, you all know that right? He was no apathy, feelings or care towards any of us, not one shred. Fans have shown the feeling is mutual... move on.

Nobody is claiming he does though?

Surely it's obvious that things like this don't make Fisher look bad. It just backfires on city fans who do then look bad while he strolls off onto his train.

That goes for the people kicking off and the bloke shouting incorrect things about investment.

He's got a point though. For instance over the weekend someone made claims on here about me very deliberately knowing that they were a complete fabrication. Serious false allegations as well that I have reported to you in the past. Didn't see you jumping to my defence like you are Fishers. And unlike Fisher I am undoubtedly innocent.

In a way, I'd like to chat to somebody who was that way disposed as much as anybody else, as I just can't understand how on earth you could justify SISU'sownership in the slightest. I can even buy into an argument you can stand up for Fisher as an individual (trying!) to sort out the mess made up to this point, but there's absolutely no way you can possibly say SISU have been good for this club as far as I can see.

Would love to see what motivates somebody to believe that is the case!

Nothing has been reported, unless somebody else saw it first and removed it?

If you had a group of people shouting in your face in an aggressive way I'd be saying it was wrong also and if I saw it would probably do more to help as I can relate to you (sometimes) more than I can Fisher. It really is that simple.
