Don't know if i'm way behind the curve here or if its been covered before or if its relevent, but was having a look through Charltons forums to see what history there was and how fans perceived him. Did'nt get very far with that but found this ,thought he was operating with us as an individual but seems he has this entity behind him .This could cost us in serious fees and possibly ties him a lot closer to our strategy ,ie;forming it rather than fire fighting Sisu's

Lifted this from the website-just love the last line !!

Principal, Calimere Point Risk Advisory

Tim Fisher is a former investment banking Chief Risk Officer. Following senior roles as Global Head of Proprietary Trading and Global Head of Alternatives Investment at a German bank, Tim moved from the sell-side to establish the Calimere Point group of companies with other partners from the banking and buy-side sectors.
Tim has led numerous corporate risk management projects on both the sell and buy-side. These projects have transcended the architecture and design, development and implementation of risk systems and controls across multi-asset class trading and investment businesses. He has also developed risk frameworks for buyside firms including the implementation of re-organisation and governance (new risk and investment committee structures), policies & procedures and trading limit frameworks.
In addition, Tim has successfully undertaken a number of private equity re-structuring projects including the negotiation and capital re-structuring of portfolio companies ahead of consolidation or break-up and disposal. Sector experience includes leisure & entertainment, transport, technology, commercial real estate and retail.
Tim has a first class degree and postgraduate degrees in engineering from Imperial College and at weekends he likes to walk his dogs and get abuse hailed at him from the terraces!!!!!!!:claping hands:

This bit is a bit worrying though:-

Went into case studies part of the site.In there I found a section called SEASON TICKET SECURITISATION TRANSACTION. Read through it and it seems to be exactly what SISU did last summer to get a loan against future ST revenue. Got me thinking that maybe TF was associated with SISU/CCFC when KD was still here.

Should mention also in the blurb the fact they specialise in the sporting sector ,facilitating sales ,as was the role involved in at Charlton.:claping hands:

I suspect fisher will be here for a while even if a takeover goes through. Useful information Wingy. He clearly is a bright guy.

Agreed KD ,excellent credentials in his chosen field ,but lacking slightly on the football front by retaining the manager

Smells like an asset stripper to me, trying to convince us he's our savior, but really he's a wolf dressed as grandma....

Anyone who thinks that anyone being linked with the club in our current plight is nothing but seeing us towards oblivion is sadly misguided.

  • There is no-one wanting to take us over
  • There have been endless individuals put 'in charge' to sort out the mess
  • We are deep in debt
  • Little/no assets
  • Plunged to our lowest footballing ebb for 48 years
  • Behind on the rent
  • Living beyond our means

Put all that in the melting pot, and I am amazed that anyone can see where the optimistic end is....we're heading for a car crash...hold on tight, lads...

Doom and gloom. I'm sick of this ownership sideshow. I just want to support my football team now ffs.

So am I, Mark...all CCFC fans are...but that is the reality.

We were deep in the shit in 2007 when SISU came to the club.

They bought 4 years of breathing space with promises based on promotion or Ricoh ownership....hopefully both.

That has gone...end of. There is no stability or strategy...and any business with those factors in play is fucked. It's as simple as that.

Watch the games, support the lads, and get ready for the off-field tsunami...what else can we as fans do??

I'm going home and away, that is all I can do...support my club, and what will be will be....we'll be here to pick up the pieces.

one thing i can tell you is that 'officially' we are not behind on the rent, the rent is paid from an acoount which holds £500,000 this account is now not being topped up by sisu and hasnt been for 3 months. acl are getting their money but why are sisu not replenishing this fund?

Explains why acl are not doing anything at the moment about the rent being withheld I guess.

So after that 500k is gone in 5 months time then we will be behind on the rent, is that what this means?

That's a silly thing to say, should Fisher end up in a Sweeny Todd type scenario tonight, you'd be prime.

Can't he just fuck off & take SISU with him?

That would make you a PIG dan ,and its been proven if theres a body or two to get rid of there will be no evidence left if you throw them to the PIGS.
