Yeah, only Championship and upwards clubs would need one of those! And we're a crappy lower league club forever now, aren't we?

Clearly being Pragmatic they won't !!! the post above ..............Feasibility would be the required measure IMO.

i dont comment very often on here but i just need to say that fisher is a complete twat, it took me years to convince my son to be a born and bred city fan instead of a glory prem team supporter like his mates at school. so now fisher makes our club the butt of all piss takes, even in the playgrounds of schools, thanks a lot fisher, please take yourself and sisu away from whats left of our club and give someone else a chance to save it from complete colapse

What Tim Fisher doesn't say is that he needs central government to approve plans to build any new Stadium. If they buy the wrong site then Central Government could reject the plans on grounds of Infrastructure.....

This really is a mess. Time for ACL to get behind a new CCFC free of the SISU burden

There are crafty ways around planning consent .

If you retain one wall from the existing structure and incorporate It within the new structure Its classed as an extention and thus planning is less onerous ..Will It work at Brandon though..:thinking about:

Why do the CT not approach any club that could potentially utilise Nene Park and Eliminate them?

Its an amazing piece of SISU PR otherwise ,who do they retain these days ? Not Nobby Clarke is It?

My point precisely in another thread. It is easy, Andy Turner, Editor of Telegraph, Eakin, Geoff Foster, Linnell even Rob Gurney get off your arses or pick up a phone and contact Nene Park or all the West Midlands clubs, or your reporter colleagues in the local rags and radio and fucking ask. Someone somewhere, must know, a groundsman, a police inspector, a councilor, an office clerk. There has to be someone who can spill the beans.

Pretty sure fisher said they are looking at brown field sites, so that rules brandon out.The only other suitable sites are ansty park ( the land there has already been brought for something else) and ryton ( the owners have had no bids from ccfc for any of the land)..says it all...back to the ricoh and back to square one.

Precisely he said exactly the same things at the forums. You have to love the line,'we're down to 2 or 3 sites in the Coventry area'.If it's that few you would think he would know exactly how many sites they have narrowed it down too.

I thought he was dotting i's and crossing t's not long after the forums, now it seems to be a tad more hazy - I think they've dropped a b*ll*ck along the line and trying to come up with a cunning Plan B,C etc:jerkit:

Fingers crossed for you mate. Would have laughed out loud (if it had been funny) when I read that public sector pay workers wouldn't get an automatic rise each year under the proposals......Norman, if you check your records, the last pay rise was a massive 1% in April 2009:slap:

Seriously though MancSkyBlue - good luck

In a strange way I hope it does, sick of constantly worrying about my job, constantly having to fight negative changes and stupid decisions. Tired of always being the one that has to rally the troops to find solution.

In some ways id rather be redundant, go and push trolleys round tescos and be happy. Having a career as opposed to a job has to me at least become somewhat overrated.

I gave up a "career" for a job 4 years ago. Best thing I ever did. No stress, worries or sleepless nights, less money but iI'ive put 5 - 10 years onto my life expectancy. Do it, you won't regret it .

in all seriousness could this be an option? give Tim the push and drop in someone new who tries to get the fans back onside by saying he's happy to talk with ACL and stay at the Ricoh.

He's the English Alex Salmond when he talks non stop about separatism but has laid none of the groundwork to achieve it. Just biding time until he can make ACL look dodgy when they move back in.

Not strictly accurate LAST ,they have recently paid circa between £17-19M. for the rest of their ground ,the converse amount up to £38M. was represented by payments to a Canadian pension fund over around 10 yrs through a lease that pretty much was the construction cost of KP stadium .
However before there is a deluge of opinion about our scenario its worth remembering our build was rescued by CCC money not private funding ,and obviously there is a touch more to our Stadium interms of quantity and Class.

My new campaign is WANKER or We Are Not Knowing Everything, Really. If you want to become a WANKER then just let me know.

EDIT: I'v received a PM saying that the name of my campaign is actually a naughty word. And it is! Sorry, sometimes you just can't see for looking. I've now changed the name of my campaign to WANKAR: We Are Not Knowing Anything Really. I'm already wearing my badge proudly: I'M A WANKAR.

Email waiting for us all this morning when we came in confirming that redundancy is coming. Joy.

Maybe Sisu will give me a job? I am well used to working for clueless idiots who can't find their **** with both hands.

That's the exact problem we always have had with SISU running CCFC ... Everything has become a cheaper option and look where it has got us.
