This sounds like an exceptional idea, particularly on main roads into and out of the city. If the worst happens and the Northampton disaster happens I look forward to seeing the sight of Sky Blue ribbons all around the city. Would be good to hang them over motorway bridges on the way to Northampton. I remember, as we travelled to Wembley in 1987, the sight of flags and banners on these bridges with messages of good luck from well wishers. Seeing ribbons fluttering in the wind on the way to Northampton may prick the consciences of those travelling to "home" matches.
