I think the idea behind “not being allowed to tell fans” is that the more hardcore (and likely to be troublemakers) will have tickets already and this will put a buffer between them and the away end.

I tried calling the number online but just asks you to leave a voicemail.Ticket office finally answered and gave me a number for hospitality as they couldnt upgrade, had 10 mins left with the hospitality tickets in my basket...number gave the option to leave a voicemail, not helpful at all. Left a voicemail and haven't heard anything and the time to purchase has now elapsed.
