I have just bought 2 tickets for the North Stand Block 28 on line. The seats were my old season ticket seats but after being told the stand would be shut i relocated elsewhere. I simply used my customer number and it offered me the seats i used to have. They are clearly just waiting for the season ticket holders in the North stand to buy, which seems madness to not offer the other seats not originally season tickets for general sale.

They sold block 28 yesterday in the shop to cash customers so I don't think they were waiting for anything. It could be the website hasn't updated your details yet.

They could open the shop till 8-9 o'clock, and is they can't get them out in the post, then they could bring in a temporary kiosk for people to collect them from the Ricoh on matchday.

Do you mean bring the barrow out of retirement?

Stop trying to save a few quid and open a ticket office at least at the Ricoh. We need to be able to pick tickets up at the arena. Not have to drive past the arena to pick the tickets up.

Well, not everyone would have to do that, but I agree. Have something at the Arena.

I have no way of getting to the shop this week to stand in a queue due to work commitments so need to rely on the website. Given my experiences so far it's not looking good. This was always going to be silly demand. I could be buying tickets now on the website had we have opened all the blocks. SW even said the whole ground was going to be open for this one FFS.

Why don't they open a ticket outlet in town?

When did they open and sell out the North stand then?? I was online for 4 hrs on Friday getting 4 tickets and all they had on offer was block 18! we all had seats in the CT stand and wanted to get back in there, so is this more bs?

I used to work for Sky TV - I'd get people calling up going on about Rupert Murdoch - I share her sense of bewilderment. If you want to moan about hedge funds then go and sit outside their head office - it's nothing to do with the front line staff - they're just there to help you, not to listen to you moan.

Cost I imagine. Didn't the West Orchards one close because of lack of business?

Not for this game, but in the future, they should send a couple of attractive sales people into town with a block or two of tickets to sell from a stand, like Sky do for signing people up. Just do it on a Saturday morning, or even on a Friday night around town/social clubs.

The north stand was being opened block by block yesterday, lots of people on here told us they had bought tickets for the north stand. The club claim it is completely sold out now

If you had a season ticket in the 12/13 season your seat is being reserved up until the end of Thursday I think, try emailing the club or going to the ticket office.

I mean do they not make seats unavailable for general match sales in case someone wants to buy a season ticket for that seat?

2012/13 season ticket seats are left available until Friday for those that have not bought a season ticket yet. On Friday they are up for grabs for Gillingham only.
2012/13 season ticket holders have until the end of September to claim their seat when they will be put on general sale.

Hardly. They'd be stupid to save seats for people who MIGHT buy season tickets and then end up with empty seats. Plus people are gonna be less likely to buy a season ticket if they're severely restricted in terms of where they'll be allowed to sit.

well it will obviously be a sell out? and i'd have thought they would prioritise people who will go to every match not just 1 match the entire season

Well yeah ideally - it's just problematic trying to devise a way of putting this into practice at short notice.

Why is it? Are you more entitled to that game than a non-season ticket holder? If you held a season ticket at the Ricoh the year before we moved you had a couple of days before general sale, and those seats are still reserved now.

More likely that people who have bought a season ticket and demonstrated their loyalty before will actually buy one now. Should these people not have priority over plastics like you who only go once a year?

Your remarks regarding SUPPORTERS of coventry city show what a lowlife you are. These supporters are the future in a packed out RICOH if the city do well and you should applaud the fact they are going to the RICOH supporting the Sky Blues.
