Couldn't the king move to that white square and not be in check? Or if that's a rook not a bishop the black square to the right?

Just bring the black rook across (out of picture) and smash the white Queen. Job done.

Shame the match has been re-arranged for next week. The crewe semi was over 3 weeks away once the tickets went on sale and it spiralled gradually over that time.
The only way I can see 15k + is by producing a freak performance on Saturday against Millwall.

Fabulous. I'll put my towel down on one of the picnic benches to ensure I get a good spot.

Yep, would have been half term too if they had stuck to the original official date.

Would behave probably been quite a few more kids going.

To be fair, it takes a couple of mins to purchase tickets online and get them sent to you. The difference in time between this one and Crewe shouldn't make a difference.

How shit we are compared to then on the other hand...

They can keep their tickets thanks. Tin pot trophy anyway. Can't understand how anyone can get excited about it in our current predicament. NOPM.

Its a trophy aimed at the lower leagues, which like it or not is where we are at, so why not win it? Fair enough its shite in comparison with other trophies out there, but if we are in with a shout, why not get behind it, its not like we have or have had anything to shout about in the last 30 odd years!

Good. If we can get up to around 11,000 by Saturday and you can pay on the gate, it could well be over 15,000.

We all know though that it will be 15,000 wanting tickets for this and then more than 60,000 wanting their hands on the 40,000 cup final tickets.

How many do we expect Wycombe to bring? I have no idea, could be anywhere between 400-1500 in my opinion, anyone have any info on how their tickets are selling?

You'd expect there bandwagon fans to go to Spurs in the cup than to the Ricoh for a JPT semi if they had to choose between the two.

Unless I've missed something out it goes

season ticket holders and PSL > JSBs > people with a ticket for a previous round > people with semifinal ticket > general

Yep, found it. I'd missed out match package holders

OTHER INFORMATION:
Should the Sky Blues be victorious against Wycombe, they could potentially meet either Oxford or Luton Town/Yeovil in the final.

Season Ticket holders & PSL holders would be given first priority on tickets for the final, followed by JSB Members, Match Package holders and supporters who have attended a previous Checkatrade Trophy game (prior to the semi-final). Following that, those who have attended the semi-final match at the Ricoh Arena would be offered priority on tickets at Wembley, in advance of General Sale.

Read more at UPDATE: Coventry City v Wycombe Wanderers - 4,000 tickets already snapped up ahead of general sale!

Ooh look at everyone getting giddy about the semi final. What a pity no one is talking about getting tickets to Millwall on Saturday. A much more important game in the destiny of this club - a win could really galvanise a relegation fight and a loss could be a disaster.
Why on earth then would you not want to go and support the team and the club you apparently love in its darkest hour. Cant understand it when a game means so much.

Even a crowd of 10-12K would make a massive difference to the team and atmosphere.

It is actually quite sickening how NOPM principles can be so abandoned by a sniff of Wembley. Shame on the fucking lot of you who go next Tuesday but not Saturday.

I'm not NOPM but I do do what the fuck I want and I don't answer to you.
Plus I'm working Saturday.

Edit: Bollocks to that, even if I wasn't working Saturday I wouldn't be going.
To summarise: Fuck you.
