No wonder no one can ever get through to the ticket office via phone? Wingy is on the phone arguing about his age . He has probably burst the email inbox too

But, that would take 90 minutes. The ticket office should be able to provide a secure way to send such information. I am still awaiting a reply. I don’t think they have thought this through properly.

How secure do you want it to be? If you want it to be 100% secure then go in and I assume they will look at it and confirm.

You are never going to be 100% secure sending it online but again it depends how you want to send it.

Picallow - Temporary Photo Hosting

Picallow is a service that allows you to temporarily host pictures on the internet that don’t last forever.

Something like this you can password protect it and then set it to self destruct.

Similar to what I used. Just incase someone wanted to pretend to be an 8 year old born in Cov who loves playing Roblox and eating watermelon.

I don't get it, what's the issue with giving them proof of age?

Not bothered at all Nick. Just amused after all these years.
And sure it’s something I have done before.
But I am one of the ones who think that if they catch just one person out, all the emails will have been worth it so I will be sending mine no problemo. When I get back

I don’t see any problem, well no there is one, at my age I’ll try and remember where it is and if I get there wondering why I’m there

Just remembered ( I know it’s an age thing). I asked to upgrade to an adult ticket at renewal so son in law could go with his kids when I couldn’t make it.
They said I was too old.

I ended up getting the same email from the club. I’m happy to provide my details it shows that the club are clamping down on security to ensure these tickets generally go out the little sky blue supporters

Weird one for me in that they’ve asked for proof of my old man’s age. He’s over 65 but has a premier league package ticket so has paid the max price, can’t understand the logic of needing proof of age when he’s not paying less for his ticket.

Haha just had my email for proof of age. Turned 70 and had a season ticket for longer than I care to remember.
Know where my driving license is though, cos I had to get a new one when I was 70.

Same as my dad. Had to send them a picture of his driving license.

Years ago when computers were first a thing I scanned my birth certificate, edited in paint, printed it, scrunched it up a bit and used to use it to buy cheap cider from the shop.

I have calmed down a bit now. Gangster life wasn't for me.

On a separate issue I contacted the ticket office about upgrading my son's u21 season ticket to an adult for games he cannot attend & the answer was I have to contact them to cancel the ticket with no refund and then buy the ticket at full price. I thought upgrading a ticket was an option!?

It is the only way that I can then buy the ticket if my wife or another adult wants to go

I think that’s quite annoying, haven’t confirmed receipt of mine either. Which as they are saying STs won’t be activated/ dispatched is poor.

I sent my proof of age on 2/7/24. I’ve just received an email (9/7/24) from the Ticket Office confirming receipt and that my account has been updated.

You could of provide the docs via PDF, password protect the document, then call the club and provide the password over the phone to them.
