Just had this email, thought I would share.

On Saturday 10th September, Coventry City host Derby County at 5.20pm at the Ricoh Arena.

This game will now be televised live on Sky Sports and we want to get as many people to the Ricoh Arena as possible to cheer on the Sky Blues.

We need your help. As part of your Season Ticket benefits you receive 2 half price match ticket vouchers. Additionally, for this game, we are giving you the opportunity to bring a friend for half price without having to use one of those vouchers.

To obtain a ticket call 0844 873 1883 or visit the CCFC Superstore.

We will also be extending a matchday ticket offer for general sales. The aim of this offer is to get as many people as possible to the Ricoh Arena to watch Coventry City take on Derby County live. Matchday tickets, bought in advance will be available on buy one, get one free. This will be promoted from Saturday 20th August.

We wanted to make Season Ticket holders aware of this offer first and ask for your support in getting the message out to as many fans as possible.

We restrict this type of offer to a small number of games throughout the season and, rest assured, buying a Season Ticket will, over the course of the season, always be the most cost efficient way of watching Coventry City play.

With your help we can provide Andy Thorn and the team the best possible platform to go out and get 3 points.

Where's the problem? We want people in the ground right? We don't want people sat at home in front of their TVs. We want them at the Ricoh cheering on the players.

No problem, merely sharing the offer details for those that may not get the email.

Touchy Torchy!

To be honest, I could offer free tickets to my mate and I'm pretty sure he still wouldn't come. Shame as he used to go up all the time.

I never get these emails from the club, unless Gmail's spam filter is feeling particularly tetchy.
