I can remember newcastle only 3 and 4 thousand at home games, and if we had bigger crowds its only more money for joy with only a small % of it going to the team, but it is catch 22 and always will be when you have money people rather than football people holding the purse.

Really? This sort of shit is the problem. People seem to think that players don't get paid and that SISU are stood there pocketing every penny going into the club.

Really don't get it, especially as we have also signed Jones for a fee.

Either people don't realise, or they don't want to because it doesn't suit.

I thought McBean would have signed by now. Maybe TM is going cool on the Fin after signing Turnbull?

I'm sure that, in an ideal world TM would like to sign Ojala, but signing a decent striker must now be his main priority and he may need to wait to find how much is left in his budget before making a final decision about the Finn.

TM may also be reassessing his defensive priorities after the signing of Turnbull. The increasingly assured performances of Harries will have also given him food for thought. It's possible that he may conclude that his next defensive priority should be a right back / wing back, such as trialist Kane Smith for example, rather than another central defender.

based on we don't have any money, the owners say we aren't bringing in enough to break even so why would people with a track record like sisu's start paying fee's . that's not the way they do things, have you been on the moon.

and you now how much we paid for jones do you! well no one else seems to. my point was its more likely southampton have defferd there any potential fee to see how the player turns out rather than asking for an up front payment for a player who has never played for them.

I know attendances effect budgets lads but in this case I just think its a bit of a red herring. Burton have a capacity of under 7000 so big crowds don't naturally equate to better playing squads ask Sheffield United fans. I think recruitment has been hindered not by the budget but the players TM might be trying to attract, if your targeting higher league players they will hold out as long as possible to see if their agent can get them in a team at that level. They will only start giving it serious consideration at a lower level if that is the next best option.

It's unlikely they would do that, but what if they did? Sensible business on the part of SISU surely, if he turns out to be worth fuck all at least they've not paid for it. Do you think things through?

Surely great for the club then isn't it? Get a decent player in for free, then sell him on when he has proved himself and get some money?

I bet they have him playing for free as well.

Can you point it out in the accounts then?

Thing is, stupid misinformed rants are getting more and more extreme which is making people look even more silly. Again, somebody shouting their mouth off and they don't really know what they are talking about. Just looking for things to get at the club or SISU.

Do you honestly think SISU would put it in the accounts that they took the money? Course they wouldn't, they'd keep it secret.

(I'm joking.....)

So, what is your actual point you are trying to make?

Of course they do, if people actually take the time to back them up rather than just shouting rubbish all the time.

It's getting more and more obvious, and more and more people are noticing just how much rubbish people keep talking.

But Nick , your just the same , How many times do people have to point out all the wrongs of Sisu , plenty of evidence has been proved over the years to the mismanagement of the club. There buffoons , look at that last video of fisher at the planning meeting , what a joke , Dont get me wrong , they are clever people and are extracting the piss very well . I cant defend anything they do , because there is no trust there . I asked YOU the other day to give me some positives about the club , YOU never replied , you only answer the questions you want .

I can't work this McBean one out. Why would you bring a development player in on loan? Are we actually buying him? Or is it loan with an option to buy? Or is the development player stuff nonsense?

The anomaly in the accounts pointed out by OSB58, I take it that was investigated and
identified and then explained, thereby clearing up any suspicions some may have felt
