I know what's in my advent calendar. I've got a malteser one. My son has a Star Wars Lego one so that will be exciting. What do you think's in yours then?

I like Mars ones. My sons Lego Star Wars one cost me £25!

But then again, you can't put a price on seeing an innocent child's face light up with joy, can you? :thinking about:

Errm yeah at the minute I only have to look at my baby and she smiles back (20 weeks old), when she's old enough for a calendar it'll be Aldi own brand or something like that. I might even make one with a slice of Orange behind each window.

So you're calling your missus a pig? You'll be lucky if she don't smash it over your head.

Was much cheaper years ago though. Massive smile just for 10p of sweets for my eldest. She is now 26. When the Sega came out the kids did not want new gamrs all the time. Now my younger kids want new games for their consoles all the time as their friends have them. Dreading this for my 2 and 3 year olds. Would love to go back to the days of 10p for sweets.

Do love christmas in the house though

My little one won't be getting a console. She can have my old ones or share with me, but i'm hoping that she's active and plan on taking her to things every night like dancing, baseball, football, Rugby, Horseriding e.t.c.

I have the new 2011 SISU advent calendar - on each door it says "Our Help To Coventry City" and when you open the door there's nothing there

I kind of want a 3DS, but I fear that a) it won't be as successful or prolific as the old DS b) the 3D will make me nauseous.

My girlfriend always mentions how i never get her an advent calender around 2 weeks in to christmas, says her family always used to have one each and then does the slightly disappointed look. Thanks for the reminder lads, I'll be in the good books tomorrow!:claping hands:

I love how the original poster did this thread so everybody would ask them "what do you know, old wise one!" and its turned into this haha.

I hate it when people say "I know something but I'm not going to tell you..."
