Most of the 12 Southend thugs who set on Cambridge fan, Simon Dobbin and left him severely brain damaged are already out of prison. His life sentence continues.

Good on DIYSOS for helping his family.

That was a real sad story. Bunch of absolute fuck wits indeed. Why set on a bloke like that? It's so cowardly.

Feel really sorry for the guy but definitely was nice what the DIYSOS did.

I hope every one of them get hit by a lorry. Maybe they can get a mini bus together and wrap it round a tree. Cowards.

Remember reading about this. Really awful and the guy they set about was no sort of hooligan ''up for it'. Really hope life dishes them what they deserve, as per Nick's post.

Yes really think they should have a percentage deducted from their wages/benefits to help pay for his care for the rest of his life. It's the least they could do.

During the court case they were grinning and jeering at his family. Don't know if I could stomach that if it was my family member.

At some point, there will be an almighty comeback for these scum. Just hope they get picked off one by one.

If that was my family member I'd hunt them down one by one. Wait until they leave their house on their own and kick them up and down the street.
