I remember being told when i was 16 starting work by a Manager a bit of advice to "always remember your limitations." Best bit of advice and I ignored it once and it nearly killed me when i worked for a company in the Midlands (no names) who if you hadn't known any better were trying to kill me ! You may have the ability is what I'm saying but sometimes you dont feel comfortable with the constant day in day out pressure through the day and night. I never slept for months due to some company barmy senior management decisions trying to bail them out the shit and it effected me and my family whilst the fat cats at the top drove around in there bentleys having a great nights sleep and couldnt give a toss about you then I was made redundant.

My story slightly mirrors Thorns (obviously different careers) so I've been delt a bad hand in the past and can mirror what SISU have done to Thorn and the pressure is truly awful. Dont anyone under estimate how/what Thorn must be being put through now.

I wish him well and if it is true regarding his health then good luck and get well and stay as a scout.

I've been there as well CCFC123. Been used and abused by companies, been on 24 hour call - no sleep and expected to perform like a bloody robot the next day! Three heart attacks later, I saw sense and took early retirement! I love life now!
