His health does seem to have deteriorated, but he doesn't seem the type to admit defeat and I can't see him walking or being sacked before the end of his contract.

Doesn't seem to be as animated on the touch line of late. See more of Harrison. Maybe thats the reason for out down turn as with Harrison's voice, I doubt the players hearing coming from the touch line

In the last couple of home games it has been noticeable that Harrison has been on the touchline far more than thorn. His increased involvement may have contributed to improved results. Who knows. Either way thorn will remain to Seasons End. Then I suspect he will call it a day. The world will have gone Fugazi for AT by then. No point in Clutching at Straws we are down anyway. No Holiday in Eden for us I'm afraid.

i have to say i agree with you on this one. i dont think he has been 100% well since he was taken ill and he probably has (in only my opinion) made an agreement with the club he'll carry on till end of this season then call it a day. Poor sod.

I didn't think Thorn looked well when we went 1-0 against Bristol City. He barely got out of the dugout to give a small clap. I was thinking if it had been Martin O'Neil he'd have probably hit his head on the dugout as he jumped with glee. I hope his health isn't in question.

I must say, this would surprise me, I've thought Andy Thorn, would eventually be sacrificed by Sisu, but i cannot see any rhyme or reason to do it at this stage of the season, which is looking more likely to end in disaster, and the talk of Nuneatons Manager coming to the Ricoh Illustrates Sisus lack of desire to take this situation by the scruff of the neck, and deal with it.
I'm accepting there are no funds in the pot, and the cupboard is well and truly bare, so what is the point of them hanging on to a situation that is Beyond their capability to turn arround.
We are floundering, like we've always floundered, since the "take over"A rudderless, Captainless, ship, with no coherent direction, and a clueless business model, the fact that there is talk of them sacking And Thorn, is worrying, in so much as it indicates they will still be here, or still not here if you get my meaning, next season.
I am at present, viewing their emailed request, for me to renew our season tickets, with the same, indifference, as they have shown to our request, that they keep their promises, at the time of the takeover, to take this club to greater heights.

This may not be as mad as it seems. If AT is "removed" by mutual consent then he will probably be paid off. If that is the case then there will be a legal agreement with some non disclosure clauses in it preventing him from telling all when he leaves.

If they simply dont renew his contract then i would think that there would be little to stop him giving his view aof working for SISU and the episode with Ken would make good reading. At the time AT was very professional and largely kept his views to himself.

Have to agree. The problem is that with the relative success of Thomas, Bigi and Christie SISU will think we have another batch the same in the U18's. Deluded number crunchers that they are.
