Saying City's medical team had to patch up Richard Keogh, Chris Hussey and Clive Platt for yesterday’s basement battle at Ashton Gate while Alex Nimely was only rated fit enough for a place on the bench.

And BC could make six changes and still win. That about sums it up really, doesn't it? I'm amazed we're not already relegated and bottom. Threadbare doesn't even begin to describe our squad.

Well, not wishing to blow my own trumpet here, but back in August with the season about to kick off I remember saying that the squad wouldn't be strong enough to carry us through the whole season and that as the season wore on and players started picking up injuries we were going to be in serious trouble.

This is the time of season where players do pick up knocks and do play carrying injuries. As you say, Bristol could make 6 changes. Bet we haven't made 6 changes in a game all season.

I thought Bristol made 9 changes?

Edit: Sorry, that was Doncaster.

Says it all doesn't it. Once it's mathematically over can we all FINALLY turn on SISU?

They have done this to us.

It'd be better to turn on Sisu than each other.

Yes but to be fair to Sisu they have left no stone unturned in trying to acquire players for free including wages.

Excuses are all well and good, but the bottom line is that this is a results business...and we have won 9 games in 44.

No doubt, we have been handicapped.....but if our squad is threadbare, why have we let 3 players go out on loan????

So we could afford to bring three other players in on loan?

Yep. That's about the size of it. It's all been about freeing up wages so we could bring players in.

Going by the thread title, maybe he should get off them, not going to make them any better, and he's not as slim as he once was.

Don't know. Ask a board member next time you're standing next to one in the toilet.
