Clive just said that he's been guaranteed money for loans in January. So there we have it, another promise to be broken!

January is too late. By the looks of it we are going to be at least 16 points adrift by then.

He sounded like he was sick to death of being made a scapegoat. It was the kind of rant that managers go on when they are about to get fired-he's very much broken ranks with the party line now.

I can't blame him. He must be pretty much sick to death of it by now. SISU are buying him a collar with a bell on.

Thorn goes public with 'back me' plea

AT has taken off his 'gag',
the 'proverbial ball' is now firmly in 'the mob's' court,
come on 'hofo = your move,
more smoke & mirrors no doubt

wonder what odds the bookies will give me on Tango Ken being manager at some point this season? If Thorn heard Ken on the radio yesterday I'm not surprised he's had a pop at them, Ken was saying AT was happy with the squad and bringing more people in would just make things confusing!

I missed the first segment of the interview, but I'd say that was as much the final straw as anything! I think he's calling their bluff. It will probably lead to the sack, but he knows he doesn't have much choice.

Isn't he already 'working alongside AT'. I bet AT just loves going to work nowadays.

'chiefdave' i must have missed that one, did 'hofo-kd' really come out with that,
if so, surely that's a sackable offence - factual mis-representation,
i'm writing to santa for a 'lone ranger' outfit,
got to be better than the current 'cowboy outfit'

Couldn't agree with you more.. it sounded like the final throws of a desperate man.. I expect him to be shown the door... or to throw in the towel before the next game

Anyone else slightly worried that AT seems be concentrating on january targets, rather than concentrating on the up and coming games that are due to come thick and fast during the Christmas period? I think he might have his priorities wrong!

YES

Lets ignore all games in Dec, in the hope that the 1 loan player we get to replace Gardner who will be back at Villa will help us win our remaining 16 games !
