3 match ban, does the FA Cup game count?

Yes really disappointing and you’d imagine he’d be getting docked some wages

It’s just so disappointing.

Mindless from a player who has been so impressive this season.

We still had a chance to get back into the game at the time (albeit a slim one). Really stupid.

Not defending it, but sure the players are feeling the same frustration as us at the moment. Just lost his head.

You can understand his frustration and anger, but that doesn't excuse it.

Frustration got the better of him, but still stupid to even get involved. Disgraceful from the Brum player though.

The whole dock their wages thing.
is that something that can actually / does actually happen or is that pure football manager nonsense?

There will be some kind of fine I guess, don't these things go to the end of season kitty?

let's not get too upset by him. it's great that he cares that much, and i'm sure a lot of people on here would have punched the twat in the face.
he's been great for us this year, let's cut him some slack.

He is a silly sausage as there is a genuine risk he could lose his place if Wolf comes in and performs at his previous levels.

We all hope he does because competition for places is what we want

Still looks like Thomas missed with clipping him with his hand as he turned away and then fell to the floor as if he had been hit by a steam train

I mean I get what you’re saying but we’re going through a bit of a bad run, flu and injuries making an already thin squad worse and the first game we get our main defence back he goes and gets sent off for something completely avoidable.
It’s not like he’s gone in for a challenge and misjudged it, he’s took a swing at someone off the ball.

It makes an already shite situation worse. With Woolfy presumably starting, that leaves us with Lati as cover for 2 CB’s.
Yes he’s been good so far this season but that’s criminal from him in my opinion and he’s let the team down massively.

They used to be able to be fined.
Used to be a maximum of two weeks wages. (Due to players union involvement I think)
Not sure how it works now.
There are usually"unofficial fines" related to general discipline which go into a kitty that might be used for a "social event".
If fully expect him to pay a large amount into this!

Something obviously wound him up during the game, I am scanning the game to see who split his head open! It's quite a bad gash as even after half time they didn't manage to stem the flow.

To be honest, unless Latibeaudiere or Woolfenden throw in complete howlers in the next three games he should be made to earn his place back. That was utterly pathetic today.

He was poor for a few of the goals. Woolf can come in. Worse positions to get a suspension in for us

I'm not defending his actions or trying to distract,
But any word about an injury? Looked like the side of his head was hit by a brick and there was a lot of blood?

Radio said he ran into the goal camera. It was after their goal definitely.

He had the red mist descend and let frustration get the better of him. He’ll be fined and all will move on.

Perhaps best he doesn’t play against Lesta anyway on that basis.

If (only saw it live so ) he didn’t touch him then we should appeal as the video will show this.
Their player should also then get done for simulation.

Doesn't matter if he didn't touch him unfortunately, all that matters is the intent.

He swiped out with intent to hit the defender in the face is all the league will say.

It's a red card offence.

Surely Neumann should still be done for simulation if no contract

Big fan of Bobby but I’m 100% with this and would encourage any inside repercussions headed his way.

I agree - I think Thomas missed with the slap watching it in person but I'm not sure the cameras caught it looking back at the telly coverage afterwards.

I think he hit his head on the goal frame when he tried to clear the ball for the 2nd goal. Wouldnt be surprised at all if his annoyance/frustration/pain from that led towards the irrational hit out
