More daggers for Lampard, then!
Or hit the bar which is perfectly acceptable from where I'm sitting. No not at all! Rudoni was tiring early in that second half imo, but still offered a decent amount of quality at times, so can see why he was left on tbh. Him and Wright are the ones who are likely to get the last minute goal or assist.

Making 8 changes to a winning team doesn't exactly scream "we're desperate to win this"
I didn't think Haji's late chance was a sitter as suggested on CWR by some.
Don’t think it’s a belief that BTA is a world beater. Just that he knows what he’s getting. Saka starts when fit.BTA was poor again yesterday but Frank loves him.
Every manager is the same, they all have a player that they believe in far more than the fans do, for Frank it is BTA.
We could see their left back was their for the taking and Rapha or Tats would have given him far more problems second half than BTA but Tats wasn’t fit and Frank doesn’t yet trust Rapha !
I remember Strachan with Paul Telfer, would always pick him no matter what.BTA was poor again yesterday but Frank loves him.

It was, unchallenged from 12 yards, perfectly weighted ball in to his pathI didn't think Haji's late chance was a sitter as suggested on CWR by some.
Cup games is the only real opportunity for you to give fringe players a chance to play. It’s not that he doesn’t give a shit about it at all, all clubs use the league cup to assist with getting fringe players match fit.

Mate, even Simms would of buried it!I didn't think Haji's late chance was a sitter as suggested on CWR by some.
Sitter- noThat much time and space in the box your striker should be scoring. Sitter is of course subjective but I expect more from Wright there.
But in 4 championship games BTA has already managed 50% of the goals that Sakamoto delivered in the whole of last season, as well adding assists. There was a clip in Oxford highlights showing BTA on a dribble. He never once had ball under control, nearly tackled himself before giving ball away.
Indeed. It was very disappointing he didn't even get it on target but if he had there was still a decent chance it got saved or blocked.Sitter- no
(Very) Good chance- yes

Yes BTA can be frustrating to watch, but he's 100% stronger and more physical that Sakamoto, and at the end of the day goals win matches, and with Asante in the side we are run away top scorers.
If your looking at improving the side, its a keeper and centre halves that can defend set pieces that we need.
Your quite entitled to.Disagree
