Start him in front of Hadji Wright on Friday night in my opinion
Wright was like a Prima Dona today
Greedy and wasteful

Said it on another thread but I'm not sure you get that from the start with BTA.
He was outstanding when he came on though.
Simms never really did anything with those balls down the channels, BTA nearly scored frim one and set up the 2nd from one

It suited Asante perfectly but agree that the circumstances are different from the start.

Having said that, he showed a better touch, better link up, better aggression, better pace so I do wonder what he'd be like from the start

Unfortunately for BTA never a starter and a great player to come off the bench tho.

We have two great players in Hadji and Simms who will be crucial in our play off run.

Their huge presence alone enough to put the shitter up the oppo-you could argue that because of the battering that Wright/ Simms give the defenders-it opens the door for BTA to come on late and terrorise with his pace and directness.

Thought he showed similar qualities last week v Luton when he came on.
Don't think Lampard will deviate from that starting line up though unless forced to.

Keep it the same Asante only looked good because Mboro were pushing for a goal, and there was plenty of room behind, as bad as simms was he kept their back 4 busy Have to take any sort of lead to Sunderland. Look on their forum, nervous is not the word, cant remember a play off where the team in 4th didn’t fancy getting past the team in 5th

You aren’t wrong Tbf. But we spent a decent whack on Mr Keep Them Busy.

You’re spot on - never get that over 90. Him producing that 30min cameo is key now - key role for us. Outstanding impact.
