I didn't think they were awful to be honest, stu. I think if we had been awful we would have lost.

I just found us pedestrian, witless, dull, predictable and lacking in passion. It was plodding.

Reminiscent of the game in Dublin a couple of years ago. I have a suspicion the Lithuanians didn’t want to win tonight. It was in their best interests not to. That loss has made them one of the favourites to qualify for the next Euros!

Only thing that has been remotely interesting was Butland asking why there was a bottle of mayonnaise next to his goal.

There’s still qualifying but there’s also the Nations League. The loss means they drop down into the lowest division so effectively the sides they have to beat during their second chance to qualify are San Marino, Gibraltar, etc.

He asked a fan what he was eating. It was a burger or other sandwich of some description. Mayo was mentioned. One of the lads down there grabbed a bottle from the table next to van at the back and dropped it next to him.

It was a nothing game with major changes, not sure what people expected we were through albeit you may have thought some of the youngsters would have tried to make a name for themselves

I was hoping that UEFA had decided to alter the qualifying so that only teams who finish 4th & 5th in the groups qualify, be good to see a tournament without the likelihood that Germany/Spain/France are going to dominate and England are going to disappoint. Scotland would probably finish 3rd and miss qualification again ;-))))

If there was a group with just two teams in and both the top two teams went through automatically, Scotland would still finish 3rd.

World Cup 2018: Who needs what to qualify for Russia next year?

Just saw in thr Irish Independent that even if Wales manage to get a drawn they could end up going out due to the Coleman leg break. I really don't fancy the Republic's chances tonight.

Will anyone get close enough to the dugout to be able to break Chris Coleman's legs? Surely security will get there first.

With Henderson in midfield and the likes of Livermore in the squad we will never achieve anything.
I didn't even bother watching yesterday,After I fell asleep watching the game on Thursday!

Croatia score 1 more than Wales.
They both draw.
Croatia get 5 yellows more than Wales do.

In the unlikely event of the above happening they will draw lots/toss a coin to decide who gets in the Play Offs. Madness

Well in retrospect we should have retained Dowie with his 40% win ratio, or even without hindsight.
Could be tasty so I may tune in to SC4 with the language barrier.

Do SC4 slip in the odd 'tidy' or 'isn't it' to keep you tuned in?

The Wales vs Republic of Ireland game has everything that England games lack: Passion, Commitment and Excitement.
It's just a pity that Bale is not playing.

I'm watching on S4C. I think I studied Welsh in junior and high school for 5 years or so and I still have no idea what the commentators are saying.

Goal was the goal-keeper's fault, not the defender's.
Never roll the ball out to a marked defender.
