I don't buy that..we as fans have had the negativity drilled into us over the last 12 years..the reason to we have an average fan base is partly because of this but the fact that we have been consistently a lower end of the table team for 40years roughly give or take a season...
Who wants to watch the same old mediocricy every single season..
If you watch a TV series that you love and it becomes consistently crap..eventually you will stop watching..
This club averaged 30k plus in the 60s and managed to fill their Wembley allocation twice.
We have potentially a 30-40k fan base with consistent success.
Sadly we will never have that

Agreed. I didn't see the last series of Dallas. New one looks quite good though
