Love it. Proceeds from that chocolate bar bought in stores (£1) goes to the Royal British Legion too. Sainsburys are the only supermarket in the UK who collects for the red poppy foundation at front of store, and unlike the rest they waited until after Armstice Day before they launched any Christmas advertising.

As someone pointed out on another site, the ad is very similar to Paul McCartney's "Pipes of Peace" video. (Look it up on Youtube). Ah well, it's a pretty good ad I suppose.

Thats probably because they are are about the same event.

Yeah, but not exactly an original idea eh? The same event could have been covered in various ways. It's just a copy of the McCartney video from years ago.

Been a lot of complaints to the adversting standards agency on this ad.

Some saying it is cynical and disrespectful.

Some people could get offended by a dead leaf these days.

I thought it was quite moving.
